Unless you want to see a world dominated by chains of generic coffee serving restaurants then make your next coffee purchase from an independent and genuine place like this. It is excellent value considering how inexpensive it is and how pleasant.

The place to have salad, coffee, cake, authentic Venetian spritz. Our favourite coffee stop in Newcastle - we visit whenever we can, approximately every three months which isn't enough. Lovely authentic paste dishes and delicious panini, though I usually only order savouries when I've got the kiddliwinks - fussy eaters but happy here. The cakes are truly fabulous - I've bought whole ones for parties and have sampled widely over the years. A genuine piece of Italy, frequented by many Italians (the elderly visitors are my favourites, I could be back in Venice 😹).

Small, with about four tables insdie and another few outside, no toilets. Had an amazing super thick rich hot chocolate which I'd recommend. Didn't have room for a cake but they looked great, and there are tiny little biscuits to have with coffee.

im a coffee coinossuer. this is in my opinion the best coffee shop in newcastle. they do italian food and ice cream and pastries too. The only improvement they could make is adding lavatories. But place is so small that i understand why. Dont miss out if ur a coffee lover.

Great coffee and ambiance. Friendly polite staff and quality snacks. Puts Starbucks to shame and has took over from Costas as my favourite coffee venue.

Great Italian coffee, probably the best in Newcastle now. No toilet though which can be an issue after the second or third cappuccino

The most authentic Italian caffetteria in town. Go there for a Tre Marie cornetto and a beautiful cappuccino.
