Hedleys Riverside Coffee Shop - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

Cute small little cafe by the river. Depending on where you sit views are really good, medium sized menu, shame they don’t do more of a variety such as full breakfasts, ok priced, paid £15 for a ham and cheese toastie, crisps, cake and two lattes - wouldn’t pay anymore, but food was hot, really tast
Absolutely love it here, the staff here are absolutely lush! Nothing is ever a problem and you're always made to feel super welcome! Also love the toasties ❤️
Thank you for serving us even though you were closing. We obviously looked like we needed a rest and refreshments after our long walk. Top marks for brilliant customer service.
We only stopped for a coffee which we took away and had by the riverside, beautiful. I had a cappuccino which was very good, my good lady had an Americano which she really enjoyed too, high praise in itself, the boy went for a fruit shoot. We also got a caramel slice each which was delicious, we wou
Had a smashing sausage sandwich freshly cooked to order and a decent cup of coffee. Staff are genuinely friendly. Dog friendly cafe.

Just newly discovered this fabulous cafe on the river Tyne. Great food, very friendly and efficient service and very affordable. The location is very popular with cyclist and walkers (with and without dogs) lovely footpaths and great scenery. The staff welcome dogs and even provide treats for the we

Cracking little coffee shop, awesome strong coffee, nice staff and a good selection of cakes too 😋
I visited this cafe for my lunch with a friend. The service was excellent and their was a lovely homely atmosphere. I chose the home made soup and it was delicious , scored 11 out of 10. I enjoyed being able to see all the dogs with their owners as I don’t have one of My own.
Lovely place for coffee, quiet during the week recommended
Lovely bacon and sausage sandwich, latte was very nice too. Service was a little slow but it's a busy place. Friendly staff and dog friendly too. Water provided for dogs. Will definitely go back.
Very nice people. Served me coffee and delicious sccones
We had a lovely bacon butty and a scone, the girls are so lovely and accommodating. The place was clean and bright. We sat outside with a view of the river. Will be returning soon, thank you Hedleys! Thoroughly recommend
A fantastic little spot next to the river to grab a coffee or a snack. Coffee isn't my favourite in the area, but the staff are always so amazing especially when they get so busy or have been during lockdown. Food great and dogs welcome.
The food is great, and in-house baking is done. The all day breakfasts are super. The place also beautifully re-defines the term "dog friendly". It has a really nice atmosphere, and very comfortable facilities. It is also very clean.
Been coming here for years. Never had a bad or disappointing meal/snack/coffee. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
