Right on the riverside, as the name suggests, you can find the charming building that is The Quayside. There are more tables upstairs if you can't find a seat immediately (just follow the sign upstairs to the 'Ladies' to find more available). It is fairly dark downstairs even though the electric lights are blazing, especially in the little nook tucked away to one side of the long bar. That said, to my mind this Wetherspoons is really one for a sunny day where you want to sit outside. There's seating to the river front of the building but most outdoor seatig can be found between the two red roofs of the Quayside. This courtyard with long tables, some under canvas, can be accessed via the building or from the back of the property along the parallel road. As for the facilities, the ladies as mentioned previously is as often is the case, upstairs. The door leading to the accessible toilet and gents is to the far side of the bar, though the gents is not also downstairs as this suggests but up a different staircase.

It's a nice bar right on the Newcastle quayside. It's great value for money and offers plenty of choice of good quality food. The service was good for such a busy place. The staff were polite and friendly. We sat upstairs in a nice room overlooking the river. Thanks.

Ganz toller Pub in super gemütlichen Ambiente. Der Pub liegt direkt am Fluß in einem alten Gebäude. Im Sommer gibt es einen sehr gemütlichen Außenbereich und das Lokal wirkt sehr einladend und urig durch die Lichterketten und die älteren Gemäuer. Das Essen ist typisch wie man es aus den Weatherspoonpubs kennt und die Getränkepreise mehr als fair. Für britische Verhältnisse sind sowohl Speisen wie auch Getränke preiswert. Bestellt wird entweder direkt an der Bar oder über eine App. Wir bevorzugen immer die Bestellung über die App. Diese ist sehr zuverlässig und man sieht auch gleich alle Menüs, die es im Angebot gibt. Der Tennesseeburger sowie der Nachtisch waren 1a und super für Pubfood. Bier und die Pitcher Pimms waren wie immer einwandfrei. Besonderes plus ist das sehr urige und zweistöckige Ambiente. Sehr gemütlich. Der Service war die ganze Zeit über freundlich und die Sanitäranlagen sind riesig groß und sehr sauber. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung für Newcastles Abende. The Tennessee burger and the dessert were top notch and great for pub food. Beer and the Pitcher Pimms were impeccable as always. A special plus is the very rustic and two-story atmosphere. Very cozy. The service was friendly all the time and the sanitary facilities are huge and very clean. A very clear recommendation for Newcastle's evenings.

Was under refurbishment when we visited and ale selection was limited for a Spoons. However, spent a good hour taking a break whilst exploring Newcastle's attractions. It was the best place to have a photo taken holding a Bottle of Dog (Newcastle Brown Ale) With the Tyne Bridge in the background. Have to explain what a Bottle of Dog is because the Newcastle young apparently don't know! Lol

Overall, the Quayside JD Wetherspoon provided a satisfying breakfast experience, with the added convenience of seamless ordering via the app. If you're in the area and looking for a hassle-free dining experience, especially on busy days, this is definitely worth a visit.

Regular place to visit with friends and family. Location and staff being the reason this venue chosen over other Wetherspoons in town. I find the service here great. Staff friendly and always try to sort out any issues quickly (experienced and observed) Food price and quality is as expected in a the chain (although the porridge could have been served with a knife and fork 🤣) Drink prices and choice is spot on.

What a great lovely place this is. It is little walk down from monument metro station and from the local bus service but we'll worth the walk down on a lovely day, actually central station metro station is closer. The people were lovely and friendly,the place itself was nice and clean. Has two beer gardens, one out front the other out through the back. If its not a nice day inside to eat is just as nice. The food was lovely and at affordable prices. I will definitely be back and have recommended to my family and friends already. They have accessible entrance but I don't know about accessible toilets. The toilets were nice and clean, up some stairs 😊x

Popped in for a drink when we had some time to kill. Large pub in what looks like an old warehouse. Great location right on the river. Outdoor seating by the river and another large area in an internal courtyard, as well as plenty of seating indoors. Pleasant stop to get some refreshment.

Popped into The Quayside for a pint of Belgian blonde beer while out walking along Newcastle's Quayside. It was a sunny day, so I sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view of the river while supping my pint.
