I used to go there when it first opened, good to see it hasn't been changed into a 90's bar or something it isn't. Still has the big stairs in the middle had some great times. Great place to start your night of afternoon. Staff are polite and professional good choice of drinks. Nice big bar, nice am
Didn't have food so can't say what ots like bit we went on a match day and we got served quickly and we also got a seat which is good
Great new chef, new breakfast menu, I really like the full breakfast with scrambled egg (poached or scrambled available) proppa butter with just enough of everything else.
I've always loved this place... basically since it opened, no matter how many refurbishments it has, I still love to go! Drinks are bit expensive, but cocktails are bloody fantastic!!
Nice large pub with lots of TV screens to watch sports, 2 bar areas on the main level, seating area upstairs too, outside seating area at front of bar, good selection of drinks too
Great pub just off Northumberland Street, we've always been able to get a table on an afternoon, including weekends. Lots of space on the ground floor with multiple TV screens. There is another floor but haven't been there, don't think there's a bar up there.

We we're guests at a function on the first floor mezzanine level. The staff were excellent, remembered the drinks round for some friends a trait lacking these days in most bar staff. Good food buffet. Good music mix. No soap in the hand wash in gents loos. Very central location in town handy fo
Decent seating. Tons of screens to watch the football. Decent drinks selection, but would have liked to have seen a cider option. Also something more than bar snacks would be great
Used to come here every Thursday after work with my mate, Was only £3.10 a treble vodka back then. Have not been in a while but would still enjoy a treble and game if pool. Food is nice too.
Just been for food for the first time in ages. I had a Sunday roast whilst my friend has a burger. Huge portions and al piping hot. Absolutely incredible food with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Can’t reccomend this enough
Class bar called in Friday, staff are friendly and chatty, nice pint and good pool table.
Visited a few weeks back and had a full English before an interview. Absolutely delicious. The hash browns were super hot though, they almost scolded my mouth. Washed down with a nice pint of moretti. I didn’t eat the job tho, grrrr...
