Called in for lunch on a wet afternoon, pleasantly surprised by nice food and cask ale, served by pleasant helpful staff. Myself and the Mrs shared a meat platter and was more than enough.

Lovely pub, great selection of beers. Check out the guest ales list at the bar. Food was good, freshly made, tasty, a notch above „pub food“. Friendly staff.

Stunning building good selection of drinks, we didnt eat here but the menu looked good. A great atmosphere which was helped by all the football fans awaiting the home game

The Sunday roast is nice, like this big plate of pork a lot, the meat is tender and tasty. Good atmosphere, it get crowded soon after lunch so better arrive sharp at 12nn(the opening time) to be sure you can get seats for the lunch : )

We had a small room off the bar for 8 of us for Sunday lunch. The food was lovely, presented well and was hot and tasty, including the vegetarian option. The service was great, very responsive without being over attentive, excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely pub meal here, well cooked and presented with some great individual flavours.

Amazing chicken burgers, and amazing ciders on tap!! Greatly recomend! Heads up- No kids allowed after 7 Pm.

We managed to get a table as the bar was busy, nice atmosphere, start are attentive.

Went here with my parents when they came to visit me at uni. Lovely vibe and the food was delicious. Me and my mom had the haddock and my dad the steak which were generous portions. Dog friendly aswell!

First time I have been in this place and I wasn't disappointed. There were 7 of us and we all had food and everyone was happy. The atmosphere was good too. We will definitely be returning

A very good, very busy pub with a great atmosphere, very loud echoey pub when everyone is talking though, also a huge selection of drinks served by happy barstaff- Bonus!
