We have never stayed here but before lockdown we went here a lot for food was delicious staff were lovely was a shame when they haven’t opened back up has a pub .
Spent a lovely afternoon here with another couple we haven't seen for ages. After a very nice lunch at a very reasonable price we enjoyed a relaxed chat in the comfortable bar/lounge, which is clearly popular with people of all ages including families. Stayed at the plough last night as attending a wedding close by, from the minute we checked in the staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered a light lunch to make way for the delicious puddings. The food is always freshly cooked and generously portioned without being overwhelming. So tasty too. One ofy most favourite places. So I went along for dinner one night and we had the Kevin Lu Chinese’s banquet which was amazing!
There was so many courses and the quantity was large however that did not take away the amazing quality of the food!

Smashing place. Out in the sticks but worth the drive to get there. Has ample parking and a recently outfitted children’s area. We were there for a Family member who was having his 90th birthday party. Everything went as smooth as expected from the Staff greeting, table layout, service, staff, chefs and waiting staff too. Now a coffee shop rather than a pub, the food is excellent, as was the young lady running front of house. It’s still got that cosy pub ambience, especially in the winter when the wood burner is fired up, but it suits the high-end coffee emporium idea really rather well.
