Central Oven & Shaker - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

Visited last Saturday, i had the wild boar ragu which was lovely but not sure it was worth the £16 price tag, my friends had the pizzas and they did look fab and tasted great so they said, cocktails were lush and very strong, staff were lovely too and service was quick, i'd definitely recommed and w
Had a lovely afternoon tea here, the food was fantastic and there was plenty of it!! We went on a voucher so can't comment on price, but it was more than worth what we paid. The venue looks great. Service was a bit slow and music a bit loud, but overall a fab place to eat and catch up with friends.
We came on a Thursday and the staff were really kind and attentive and we were served quickly. We had the margarita pizza and carbonara, and they were both really nice. The food was reasonably priced and there was a huge selection of cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. Would definitely visit again
Central Oven and Shaker is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of the city. My wife and I visited two days after Valentine's Day, and to our delight, they still had their Valentine's cocktail menu available. This thoughtful touch immediately set the tone for a memorable evening. My wife, always eag
The music is aimed at a late 40’s hen-do, but I can let a bit of Spice Girls slide. It’s conveniently located on the walk from the Station to St James Park. Pizzas are served quickly and it’s easy to get a table, so you can pop in for a bite on your way into town. I didn’t like the Heat and meat p
Delicious pizzas I couldn’t fault them, quick and friendly service. The only downside is the music is very loud, we did go at 4pm on a Saturday before the match so it might not always be that loud however it was a bit annoying having to shout across a sit down meal. I will definitely be returning fo
Lunch and cocktails. Food was excellent (as always) and the service was superb. The cocktails are always fun, and we spoke to the new manager who was lovely The place seems to be back to it's high standards since he took over in the New Year, so we will be back soon to enjoy their food and hospitali
Been here a good few times now and never been disappointed! The pizzas are incredible, but probably wouldn't recommend one each if you're having drinks too, as they are HUGE and very filling!! Cocktail menu is great, they do 2-4-1 all day! Personally would recommend the watermelon sugar high cocktai
1st time as part of a large group, table services was good, drinks came very quick, food order was a large one, but came out altogether. Everybody was complimentary of the quality of food.
Real pizza Napoletana. Vegan option available. Granted favourite pizza place in town.
Staff were amazing during our bottomless brunch, and we definitely got value for money. Food and drinks were both delicious
Cocktails were too sweet, u can not even feel an alcohol in it but looking impressive. I have orderd steak and it was well done instead of medium raw however nicely second and not chewing. Great service, fancy interior with loud vibrating music. Great location.
Wonderful cocktails. Staff were very corteous. We also had dinner, the fetuccini carbonara and the Philly cheese steak pizza were fantastic. The mac and cheese were good. Will come back!
