It's a lot better than I ever expected with the stunning comfortable chairs and sofa. I never did imagine it could look so good. Staff were people watching to serve in the correct order, so all customers were happy with their wait. It naked a change to see great staff with outstanding observational skills. I will be back

A really nice pub with a large selection of reasonably priced beers. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Also good for watching sports on TV

Massive choice of beer, amazing atmosphere on a match day, and great place for a catchup any other day. Gets quite busy, so maybe it's hard to get a seat. At the time of posting, they have a 0% beer on drought for dry January.

A perfect bar with a stunning interior. Loved the chairs felt rather like a throne haha. Ale suits my life Semi organised Chaos lol. Loved the crisps. Staff, friendly, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Very clean. Toilets very smart although I did worry I had turned into a vampire lol. Highly recommended. Felt very safe and relaxed. Everyone was so polite and well mannered. Close to bus stops as well.

Visited for a quick drink during the day, mid week. They have a good selection of real ales. Comfortable sitting areas. A good traditional and clean pub.

Nice place but quiet today. I don't drink alcohol but there's a good range of non alcoholic drinks 🍻 to choose from.

A great real ale pub in the centre of town. This place puts the pub chains to shame, good beer and good atmosphere.

Great bar located on a side street off Grainger St. Good variety of draught beers. Can be difficult to find a seat during busy times, although there are plenty of bar stools.

Great "traditional" pub in the heart of the City Centre. Friendly staff. I was a bit shocked at paying £9.40 for 2 beers, but it has been a long time since I went out in the town. It might make a great Weatherspoons, as it was a right hike to the bogs.

Cracking whisky collection Local ales and beers as well as from further afield, decor is very nice with quite a unique but subtle twist if you pay attention Friendly staff, couldn't comment on the food but I'd image this is pretty decent with the chain involved
