It's been a long time since I had the chance to visit this restaurant. The decor was nice, the atmosphere lovely, the staff attentive and the food excellent! We shared a garlic bread with tomato to start. I had one of the specials, lemon and Rosemary roast chicken with Mediterranean vegetable risotto, and my mum had the marinara risotto. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and the portions were generous. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we got 10% off the bill for showing our theatre tickets. The only downside is that it is up quite steep stairs with no disabled access and then the toilets are up yet another staircase, which made access very difficult for my elderly mum. Can't fault anything else though.

Used a Wowcher for two mains with two wines ... lovely little restaurant that smelled so good as soon as you walked in. Food was delicious... artichoke n bacon pizza and amatriciana pasta ... so tasty!!! They were happy to swap a wine for a soft drink. Nothing was a bother ... lovely staff too. Will definitely go back

Visited today and tried the December member with some work colleagues. I can't think of one bad thing to say about the menu, food or service. A great choice of dishes and an extremely reasonable price. I paid £12.95 for two courses (I had the arancini and ragu tagliatelli both of which were delicious) and a glass of house wine was just under £5 and very nice. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Perfect night for four of us at Don Vito's. Friendly greeting, and great service. Menu was varied and inviting, making choice quite difficult, but we immediately sensed we wouldn't be disappointed. And we weren't.. When it came the food was excellent, really delicious. When we dine in town, this will definitely be our restaurant of choice. Thanks everyone.

Staff were friendly and food was lovely. Pizzas are really tasty and the restaurant is comfortable and well decorated. Menu contains a great selection of pizzas (sorry, really wasn't in the mood for much else) and gins. Atmosphere was quiet, friendly, welcoming and relaxed!

Booked by phone, table for six with only 5 mins notice on Sat night, (28 July), after being let down at another restaurant. Warmly welcomed and taken to a table marked reserved for us. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful creating a homely atmosphere. A very good menu of traditional Italian food very well prepared and presented. Vegetarians well catered for too. The service was nothing short of excellent, attentive but not imposing. The starters and pizza and pasta was top end in quality considering the modest price and the wine was really reasonably priced too. Will def be back.

A fantastic and authentic Italian dining experience on the fringe of the city centre. We were made to feel welcome and were well looked after by a young Italian hostess. A minor niggle was that the kitchen needed better air extraction as the food aromas permeated our clothes and lingered for some time after we left. But overall, a brilliant and beautifully cooked meal delivered by excellent and friendly service. We will be returning and would recommend to anyone.

Food delicious, staff really friendly. Quiet little place out of the way from all the crowds so perfect for a quiet meal. Lots of stairs so avoid if you struggle with walking and currently offer a 10% discount with your theatre tickets.

Nice Italian restaurant. I love its calm environment and food is quite good. Pizzas are original and tasty and rissottos are delicious. The signal on the street should be bigger, it is a bit hard to find the first time.
