If you miss Malaysian taste food while staying in Newcastle, this eatery is very highly recommended. Its rojak Pasembor is marvellous. The service is slow but if you're not in hurry, the meals you ordered for is worth waiting patiently. The owner is very professional and friendly too.

Had a Just Eat delivery from here, arrived with in the time and still hot also well packaged! I ordered the Fish Curry (Melt in the mouth pieces of fish) in a spicy rich sauce, the Chicken Varuwal (Tender chicken cubes in a sorta rich spiced sauce with loads of onions) this was tasty too and Rojak P
I would say JJCafe it’s the most authentic Malaysian restaurant in Newcastle. Ordered rojak and Mee Siam, both didn’t disappoint me and it’s flavourful! 😋 definitely will be back again!

Great food served in unpretentious surroundings. This place is all about the food. A great menu with ample choice of Malaysian and Singaporean cuisine. Management very friendly. If you miss asian food (malaysia, Indonesia and Thai). Come to this place! Its not pricey.. So super worth it! It near bykers. And it is open at 4 p.m. unfortunately, due to the covid situation, we cant eat dine in.. But the owner was really kind. He gave us the chair and table outside (Its better)
Definitely my favourite place for authentic Malaysian food in Newcastle. I love the Nasi Lemak, Lamb curry and the Thali. Definitely try the Thali! everything is freshly made ❤️
