Had the good fortune of stumbling across this hidden gem in Gosforth this afternoon. An amazing experience topped off with amazing desserts and a welcoming, friendly environment with a wonderful choice of music too! Couldn't recommend highly enough and would strongly advise checking them out if you're in the area. They have a great loyalty scheme in addition to the aforementioned details, certainly looking forward to returning in the not too distant future. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I have found the very best ice cream parlour this side of Napoli! I was going to have a coffee at Costa cafe at the Asda services in Gosforth and I came across this wonderful ice cream parlour which sells great coffee and the most delicious home made ice cream! A great find! The team there are so polite and helpful too!
What a find, delicious ice cream. Milkshake was amazing and the decor is ice cream parlour with a modern slant. Lovely staff too, dont settle for less for ice cream. Cant wait to come back

Lots of selection, well maintained and friendly staff each time we’ve been. My children struggle with all the choice - worse decisions to make, but we try to make it a regular treat stop on our way in/out from trips. Thanks Mimi’s!
Icecreams are beautifully made, most times I go the flavours are different. Last time I went, I got a pecan brownie with icecream and waffle haven and it was amazing! Presentation was great and staff are just lovely. Mimi is amazing, she puts a lot of effort and work into what she does. She is clearly very passionate and I have never been let down by quality. Kids seem to love coming in and when I need a perk up, I'll pop around for icecream. Keep up the good work 🥰 vegan options are available as well and they have a great loyalty scheme.
Fantastic family run business. Coffee is great, ice creams are always amazing, service is friendly and warm and the brownies are incredible. Very lucky to have this place in the neighbourhood!
Tried the vegan strawberry ice cream and definitely the best dairy free I've cream I've had. The owner told me it's her own recipe and she's got it perfect!

loads of flavours from the classic to the unusual served up by their super friendly staff in either cones or tubs of various sizes. Plenty of room inside and outside to sit. Also does great tea and coffee!
Loved the ice cream. Great choice of ice cream, some vega choices too. Cant wait to try the coffee on the next visit.

We always visit Mimi's on Christmas eve since they opened. If I remember correctly they hadn't really intended on opening on Christmas eve back then (2017?) but it was a great thing for me when I was on my own with my children that year!
It's become something of a tradition since then, and pandemic aside, we've always come in on Christmas eve (as well as through the year!)
The ice cream is delicious (I love the blood orange one and also the pistachio)
It's reasonably priced with plenty of choice and friendly staff.
I'll always recommend Mimi's, it's a lovely little place with something for everyone.
Great varied selection of Ice Creams, toppings, containers and some big, filling tasty waffles for me. Room inside to sit as a family, and outside on their tables if the sun is out.
It is what it is, get stuck in and eat. Our little one loves it, cannot ask for more than that I guess. Also a members scheme for freebies, so you can get your ice creams for free once in a while. What is not to like about that.
I go to Mimis most nights with my son. He is autistic and this is the one place I can guarantee to make him happy. I myself am gluten free and dairy free and they also cater for me too. The vegan icecreams are to die for. Grapefruit is my favourite in a gluten free cone. Great staff. Love the loyalty scheme and often get a free cup of coffee :)
