My husband and I had dinner at Thai House Newca in Newcastle. We ordered pork leg rice, Pad Thai, skewered chicken fillet, and two Thai drinks. The pork leg rice was excellent, with a perfect balance of fat and lean meat. It wasn't too dry or tough. 👍🏻 My husband particularly loved the Pad Thai, praising its deliciousness and authentic sweet and sour flavors, which surpassed other Thai restaurants in the UK. 👍🏻 The only downside was that the skewered chicken was dry and tough, making it difficult to eat. Regarding the environment, the seating arrangement in the restaurant was quite tight. We were placed in the middle of two tables, with the seats attached to each other. There was hardly any space to even take off my coat. When guests at the adjacent table needed to leave, the table had to be moved to create a passage, which made the dining experience inconvenient. However, despite this, the overall food was very good, and the portions were satisfying. I would visit again and hope for a more comfortable seating arrangement next time.

I've been satisfied every time I've dined there and highly recommend it for a genuine taste of Thailand right here in the city!

Authentic but not spicy Thai food in Newcastle. Would recommend: papaya salad, fried intestine and pork salad (nam tok moo) Fried intestines for me was the best in this restaurant. Crispy, crunchy yet juicy.

Good place for a quick cafe style Thai food. The food is authentic like you are in Thailand. Also they serve the famous Thai milk tea 🥰 my fav dish has to be the pork leg stew, Tom yum soup with prawn, and papaya salad (Thai style). The portion size was huge, at the end of the meal we have to roll ourselves out the door lol

Great first visit here. Nice cafe style atmosphere and excellent range of Thai drinks and food on the menu. I had the vegetarian Kang Pa Jungle curry. Nice spice kick and the Thai milk tea was super yummy. Good coffee to finish too. The staff were very friendly and helpful ✌️ I'll be back to try the Pad Thai

This will be my favourite thai restaurant in UK that I’ve tried so far. Authentic taste thai dishes especially Tom Yum soup and papaya salad. They have a small food stall selling takeouts and curries on Sunday. I will definitely visit again when I come back to Newcastle.

An authentic Thai restaurant serving scrumptious dishes with generous portion. Probably the best south eastern Asian cousin available in Newcastle.

Such a lovely place with a welcoming atmosphere! We ordered chicken pad Thai and king prawn pad Thai as well as a salad to share. The food was delicious, members of staff came up and asked if our Thai milk coffees were okay or too strong (they were perfect) or if our food was too spicy (again, perfect!). We really enjoyed our meal here and would definitely return!

Been to this restaurant a few times. The food is very good. I have spoken to a few Thai friends and they have said this restaurant is relatively authentic to inland Thai food. I have tried the ‘Som Tum Thai’, it is papaya salad. It was crunchy, sweet and mildly sour, with a taste of fish sauce, very nice. The ‘pad Thai’ was well made, you can smell the wok in the dish. I also tried the most popular ‘pork leg stew’, which is essentially braised pork leg with Asian picked vegetables. Personally I am not a huge fan of braised pork, but if you like it, I think it was a well made dish. The meat was tender but soft and didn’t stick to the teeth. The skin was like tender jelly. They also served what tasted like a vinegar sauce with a mild garlic taste, which went well with the pork. I also tried the soup ‘Tom Yum’, I didn’t really like it the time I had, I was expecting something slightly more creamy as it was quite watery, and there was a mild taste of metal from the pot. The service is very good, the staff are very friendly. Overall, this is a nice restaurant with good thai food and good service
