This place is one the best in NE region. Delicious food, really interesting wine list with great prices and super friendly staff. What else do you really need?

Perfect in every way. Staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Very intimate restaurant. Food was incredible, I had the sprout signature dish to start followed by mutton loin. Food heaven, gives another restaurant close by a run for its money. We will definitely be back

Went last Saturday and all three of us enjoyed our meal. Lovely, fresh food, cosy surroundings, excellent service from booking over the phone to paying the bill. Only niggle we had was the music was a bit too loud (we were sat very close to the sound system) but as soon as we mentioned it to the waitress it was dealt with. Thanks and good luck

Lovely new restaurant in Jesmond, we went for lunch this afternoon the waiter was very attentive. Food was delicious we had 3 of the snacks off the lunch menu between two of us. We also had the pear tart & chocolate mousse for pudding that were both divine. Definitely be back soon!

This is a really great wee restaurant - the food & service were just wonderful. It deserves to be full every night. It is quite dark & difficult to see from the road, & dark inside as well- (the food is definitely the star of the show).

A very small but cosy restaurant with friendly helpful staff and two very talented chefs. The food choice is varied and covers all tastes and prices. There are snacks starters mains and desserts as well as a varied cheeseboard. The wine selection is amazing from reasonable up to really expensive but that's down to the individuals wallet and choices. Soft drinks are quite pricey but generally everything is available to suit all wallets. Not quite a year since opening and niwcdoing Sunday lunches which are lovely. Everyone should give it a visit it's well worth it!

1 of only 3 places I eat in Newcastle good honest food inventive and produce driven as it should be . The other 2 are the bridge tavern and peace and loaf . New breed of great chefs and good people

We came here for an amazing meal in restaurant week. The focaccia is stunning, as are the rigatoni and Parpadelle dishes. Really enjoyed our wine too. The desserts were a lemon meringue and chocolate with boozy cherries. I'd only mark this place down because we were unfortunately late to be seated due to the table before us leaving a lot later than planned, which meant a fair few items had sold out by the time to came to order, but the staff were quick to respond by discounting our wine and desserts. Really lovely, worth a visit!

Mamma Mia! What a restaurant, actually this is the Patricia / Vinny’s, the restaurant you have to visit while around in Jesmond or Newcastle. Whether you live close by or just visiting, you cannot miss it. Just make sure you book a table beforehand as your chances getting one without booking are very slim. And then be prepared for a warm welcome by a very friendly and professional staff member Eva, great atmosphere with phenomenal music, traditional Italian style interior with squeaky floor will send you back to the last time you visited the finest restaurants in Rome. This is only the beginning… Once your food is served a taste of wonderful dishes will take you straight to the heaven and you will stay there until the very last bite. The experience cannot be written by words, you need to be there to feel the difference between an Italian restaurant and the Patricia / Vinny’s!

I ate here during the Vinny’s kitchen residency and it was a phenomenal meal, the standard is way above most other restaurants in town. Unique flavors and high quality ingredients even in something as expected as a Caesar salad. I am already looking forward to my next chance to eat here and I highly recommend for any foodies. It would make an excellent date or special occasion meal but get yourself here if you can, even if you haven’t got a reason. Thanks!

Incredible meal with really warm and friendly service. It was nice to go somewhere with atmosphere and Vinny's is an absolute gem. Genuinely excellent pasta and arancini which is a rarity in Newcastle. We'll be back ❤️

Lovely experience. Amazing food in a super cozy environment. Perhaps the wait between courses was a bit long, but the payoff was worth it!

Oh my sainted aunt, the veg for the sunday lunch were cooked perfectly and the beef succulent pink. The raw beef with parmesan and walnut just melts in the mouth.

Absolutely delicious food. Can’t recommend enough if you get the chance to go here. We’ve eaten a lot of places but The Patricia managed to show us new and unique ways of serving food, but also combining different flavours. Thank you for a great meal!

Absolutely perfect evening. What an amazing restaurant. The food was unbelievable and so reasonably priced with good portions and excellent taste. The staff were so lovely, chatty and knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcomed. We shared most of the starters which I would definitely recommend doing so you get to enjoy the variety of the menu. The pasta dishes were also all phenomenal, but the tiramisu was the absolute highlight of the meal. It was one of the best puddings I’ve ever had. Thank you!

I ate at the Patricia a few times when I used to live in the toon a few years ago and loved it. When I saw what they were doing with the Vinny’s residency I knew we had to try it. We finally got the chance on Saturday night and it didn’t disappoint! Good tunes and wine, every dish was great but the Tiramisu was the highlight and a good recommendation from Eva who was lovely and knew her wines really well. Definitely coming back.

Wow, simple ingredients shining through just like true Italian food should be. We are we’re already fans of The Patricia and Ophelia but this was our first visit to Vinny’s. Not only did I feel like I was in the Sopranos with their NY Italian vibe the food made me want to sit all day sipping on red wine, dipping the delicious focaccia in the lightly salted EVOO and feasting on Pasta and Veal. Italian food has been ruined for us by the thousands of Sambucas and lunchtime specials but if you want to remember why we loved it so much in the first place pop in to Vinny’s. Great service Great Food simple as that.

This was our first visit to Vinny's at The Patricia and we will definitely be back! We decided to go for the full experience of starters, pasta and meat courses. Everything was delicious. The pesto on the burrata was unbelievable and the veal saltimbocca was 2nd to none. I MAY have ordered too much cheese with the burrata and the gnocchi with gorgonzola but NO REGRETS! The homemade limoncello topped it off beautifully. Wonderful food, wonderful service. Ava (or is it Eva?) and Angus have created a really relaxed, friendly and delicious experience. Highly recommend!
