Managed to hit happy hour and get buy one get one free on the wine. Nice atmosphere and decorations. Can imagine this being a really good local, if only I drank more/ had friends. Friendly bar staff, nachos were nice.
Had our engagement party here in the room upstairs. The room is lovely and a bit quirky as opposed to just hitting the local social club. The staff were really helpful with everything and you can just plug a phone/iPod in the sound system for the night. Would definately go back for an event.
Burgers and pizza were amazing. 2 for 1 on doubles or cocktails. Cosy atmosphere and is close to student accommodation. Savings for students too.
I've never had bad food here, the service is really great, the staff all chatty and lovely. It's quiet at lunch time but in the evenings can get quite busy. On saturday nights they have a live singer who is brilliant and it just makes the atmosphere.
This place has the best ribs I've ever had, you get really large portions for the price and they have a separate price for students which I think is great. Visited last Saturday for a friend’s birthday, based in the function room upstairs, a great space for small private events. Service was brilliant with the barman boylun serving some of the best gins I've tasted. Food was great too!

Nice little student bar just outside the city centre. Excellent food too for a reasonable price. Staff are for the most part very friendly. It can be quiet when the universities are on holiday but usually there is a good atmosphere there.
Great atmosphere, great music on the night in question and great service behind the bar too. A nice young lad named Andrew was quick both with cocktail recommendations and in preparing them too. Would definitely recommend!
Great food, supernice location and cheap prices - btw, they offer discounts for students, so don't forget to show your student ID. I had the mushroom pasta which was great. Friends of mine visit it every week because of the great burgers (sometimes they have a 4-for-2 special or sth like this)
Nancy's is the local to our office and on a Friday they do 2 for 1 drinks, of which they have a decent selection, no ale but plenty lagers, crafts and spirits. It's busy most of the time, but the atmosphere is great and the staff are all lovely.
Great bar on city centre outskirts. Food is always on point and the ribs are my favourite in the city. Portions are big, prices are cheap with it being in a student area and staff are always really friendly and helpful.
