Really nice pub. Great outdoor space including seating around a fire pit. Inside is warm and cozy and the staff are friendly. The food is all non meat and was really good - pictures of burger and “chicken” burger. Male bathroom stall has no lock on it.

I didn’t have the food but the pub its self was really really good. Come to think of it I’m not sure they did food. There was a nice dog roaming around, the waitress was lovely and the decor was brilliant. They made me nice coffee and I couldn’t have been happier or made more welcome.

Cracking sunny afternoon out down the Ouseburn at this class pub!! Vegan food was awesome! Mixed crowd.. great atmosphere. Deffo going back!
Food was very good. I'm not a vegan, but I do eat vegan stuff a lot. First time eating here, we had the jack shawarma and the bfc burger. Both were very very nice. We paid £26 for two meals. But it was well worth it. Definitely recommend for the nice food and the good selection of beers.
The food was amazing!! I would highly recommend. The vegan sunday dinner was delicious. Lovely little pub with a great outside seating area. Lovely atmosphere.
First visit here mid afternoon on a weekday. Beer well kept and reasonable choice. Did not try any food as only vegetarian on menu. Atmosphere quiet as only three other customers besides the two of us. Limited parking around this area. More of a "locals" pub and certainly livelier on the weekend.
Amazing little pub in Ouseburn. Best vegan food I've had in a while. Warm friendly atmosphere with a good vibe. Will definitely be going back. Wish more places could offer tasty interesting vegan food.
Absolutely delicious vegan food, relaxed atmosphere, a great range of ales and friendly staff. My only suggestion if you're visiting is to order everything you'll want in one go on busy nights as staff are so stretched you may be missed until you ambush someone! Not a bad pub, a few cask beers on, comfy and quirky interior and plenty of outside seating to enjoy its picturesque situation in the lower Ouseburn valley. I gather they do vegan food.
Although a little out of the way, the food and drinks here were excellent. Service was polite and quick, and the area was very nice. Will happily go back next time in Newcastle.
Top top top. Good Guinness and extensive vegan menu of interesting and good quality pub food. We had the shawarma flatbread (homemade flatbread) and the fish and chips. Both excellent, but particularly recommend the shawarma, it was delicious!! Great vibe too. Will be back

Food is excellent, I'm not a vegan but I really enjoyed the food and did not miss the meat. Service was a little slow but I think it was a one off as we went just after new year and there was only one person behind the bar.
