The food was nice, the lamb was a bit tough but the roasted veggies was fantastic. The Sea Bass was great, and the sweet potato mash was very well seasoned. The staff are friendly and attentive, and really give the restaurant character. It was very quiet in the restaurant due to the footy, and unfortunately the 'buzz' I have experienced in the past was missing because of this.

Really nice atmosphere, I would call it a romantic place. The waiter was really friendly and polite and the food was good, maybe pizza wasn't really well cooked but a part from that everything was quite good.

Love this place! The food is delicious and the staff are so warm and welcoming. Giuseppe and the team always go that extra mile. It has a lovely laid back atmosphere and you never feel like they are hurrying you off the table. The stone baked pizzas are lovely and there is always a wide selection of things to choose from on the specials and the al la carte menu. My daughter is a veggie and she loves coming here as the veggie dishes are really good. The homemade desserts are always a treat too.

My favourite restaurant in Newcastle. The service can be lacking sometimes, but recently has been good. Dont go if your in a rush. Great food and a nice atmosphere. They do a menu of the day for two or three courses for about £10. The goats cheese wontons have to be tried!

Friendly and relatively casual restaurant with consistently good food - the Thai fishcakes have been a favourite of mine for years. Can always be relied upon for a great value meal at lunchtime or a wonderful dinner in the evening.

Quiet but lovely Tuesday lunch. Spaghetti sauce delightful and the Kofta just right. House white wine should be a safe bet and it was, unfussy, dry and eminently drinkable. Good food.

Paradiso is a great restaurant. Lunch time specials of 2 courses for £7.95. All food freshly made. Cosy booths and a terrace for sunny days. Friendly and helpful staff. One of my favourite eateries in Newcastle.

Small, cosy, informal place. Great coffee! Nice staff. I only had tapinade and focaccia to eat (haven't been here for years) but I couldn't fault it. Quality, quantity and price were spot on.

Lovely food, one of the best pasta sauces I've tasted and unbelievable friendly staff. Although vegan is not listed on the menu, they can make it.
