Chefs done a great job with a full restaurant . This restaruant got me excited . The food was amazingly tasty and the attention to detail on the plate was good . The seasonal rhubarb and local sea food from North Shields was fresh clean and expertly cooked . The flavour combinations worked . Wine list was excellent and a few by the glass options was great too . £55 per person meal .This is a reasonable price . Alacarte menu available . Set menu once a month . Adult environment , Disability friendly .
Our third New Year's Eve spent at Artisan and what a joy. I think last night's meal was superior to the previous two as the balance of dishes was much better and maybe not as heavy as previously. A lovely venue - calm and relaxed - lovely background music - lovely informative staff - really good value for the quality of the food. Only disappointment was the Gallery not being open which it was the first year we went. Champagne and canapes previously served there and a chance to wonder round looking at the fine art work in there - but it does mean a revisit for lunch when the Gallery is open. Thank you Artisan for a lovely night. (We walked over to Gateshead after our meal to view the fireworks from outside the Sage and what a display that was this year)
Wow! Beautiful place with food to match! Fine quality ingredients presented and cooked perfectly! Been here for Sunday lunch, I will be back for sure!
Been many times, first time for Sunday lunch and i can't fault it, staff very pleasant, food excellent and the price not too bad.
Really nice place, gorgeous food. Atmosphere as we went on a quiet night was lacking a little, but could of only done with music being slightly turned up.
Lovely place. Beautifully presented freshly cooked food
The staff were very professional, the headwaiter who was suited was excellent. I did not like the brioche bread, he wen upstairs to the cafe to get me some sour dough bread as the other would take around 15 minutes to cook. he did not have to do that. Beef was lovely, I could not eat it all as there was a bit too much. So, no desert. I have been twice for dinner during the week and it has always been fabulous. I would recommend this place. £25.00 three courses, I feel very reasonable. but seems the normal price for this level of service and food. I will go back again.
I’ve only visited the biscuit factory three times and each time I’ve been blown away with the foods on offer in the restaurant there. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the menu is exceptional with so much choice and the food is exquisite: fresh, colourful and the best quality. If I had the tiniest gripe it would simply be that with so much choice it’s hard to pick. Last visit I had their own version of eggs Benedict, which was offered with ham or smoked salmon. I chose with salmon and only wished I’d taken a photo, it was the best eggs benedict (with lashings of salmon) that I’ve ever tasted and I’m quite a foodie with 60+ years experience. My friends are vegetarian and vegan and they too were spoiled for choice, the vegetarian had mushrooms on toast - never before have we ever seen so many mushrooms on toasted artisan bread. The vegan chose a non-dairy cheese and roasted vegetable toasted artisan sandwich and two salads with dips. All of the food was bursting with colour, flavour and freshness. Everything is presented beautifully and although always busy the tables are well spaced in keeping with pandemic restrictions, it’s light, bright, airy and spotlessly clean.
I would definitely recommend eating here, they excelled in all areas and given their location in a huge city the prices are very reasonable too!!
High end dining. Fresh local produce. Great menu selection. Fantastic Sunday Lunch which I can highly recommend. It can get busy on a Sunday but you have the option to book a table so avoid disappointment. Very Friendly staff, good table service. Relatively easy access. There is a walkway/ ramp but it is a tad steep, and the door is quite heavy to open. Clean accessible toilet. The food is delicious and the portions are good. Definitely worth a visit. Great place to catch up with friends.
I found this restaurant, part of the 'Biscuit Factory' art gallery through on line research. It didn't disappoint. Comfortable contemporary warehouse feel eating area. Not crowded. Plenty of table space. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
Lovely food. Modern British. Great choice and delicious. Reasonably priced for the quality and much much cheaper than other similar places I have eaten at in other cities.
The art gallery is also worth a visit. Some lovely contemporary work.
Would definitely go back if I were in Newcastle again.
