Absolutely amazing chip shop the fish and chips come in a very generous portion size, the fish is fresh, tasty and the batter is not soggy. The chips are also unbelievably tasty and again not soggy. Great friendly fast service.
Great customer service and excellent quality food. One of very few good chip shops left. Would highly recommend it. Bev in particular is amazing.

Favourite chippy by a mile, fish is a good size, also it’s always fresh and nice and white on the inside, the batter is always also fresh and light which shows that they use fresh clean oil regularly which makes a big difference, also chips are of great quality, fresh, soft on the inside and crispy

Simply the best fish and chips shop North of the Tyne. Their scampi is just wonderful and their chips are tasty and not soggy. Fish is always in crisp batter unlike other places. It has become our first choice for fried food.greagreat

Fantastic food, I've came here for many years. I live in the south now and it's the only place I will come to when I go home for a weekend for 'proper' fish and chips. Only feedback would be to cook the chips a smidge longer as they were slightly anaemic last time however this doesn't stop me from g
First class chippy, very popular and for good reason. Always display details of local fish source. It can get quite busy due to its popularity, but well worth the wait. There's a small car parking area in front and a good car park next to it.
