Went to Luigikhan's for anniversary meal with family. We were the first ones there at 6pm. As we entered the premises there was no staff in sight to show us to our table. I had to knock on the kitchen door to let someone know we were there.

First time visiting. Good selection of starters, some of which are a bit different to other restaurants. They offer several harder to find dishes such as nihari although they are not available all the time as we found on the night we went. Portion sizes are generous, mains were good, plenty of well
Came on the last day of the Eat out to help out promotion. Restaurant was very busy but still received good, friendly service. Great food especially the mixed grill starter. Only issue was that the online booking did not work and had to confirm by telephone. No great problem. Recommended especially

The service was mostly good and I had a nice table . The food was lovely, very tasty starter and main course and a soft drink. Staff polite and efficient and pleasant. The background music was nice.

Easily the best Indian restaurant in Newcastle! The wait staff who served us (Krishna and KD) were very friendly and offered brilliant service as was the owner. All of the food we ordered came quickly and was cooked to a very high standard. Looking forward to going back soon!

The setting for the restaurant is both modern and moody, a great setting to eat in.

I've eaten here many times and it's always been excellent. Friendly, professional service and incredible dishes! I'm a particular fan of a chicken or lamb handi after enjoying one of their excellent pickle trays and, if I'm hungry a mixed grill too!
