Village Tavern - Newcastle-under-Lyme - Photo album

Nice little village public house. Only stayed for the one pint before moving on. But never been there before and made feel welcome. Nice atmosphere. Decent people.
Great pub, great people wish we could get a good permanent landlord or lady
A very warm and friendly place
Still a real Ale pub , pubs like this are being slowly wiped away , is a bit pricey, but I'm not a regular pub user so it could just be the comparison to EG bargain stores Vs The Brewery , I'd still choose a real beer though than drink at home , it suits people though now ,esp young couples at a week
Amazing little local. Lenna and her staff are fab and we love it in here. Dogs are allowed which is fine but maybe dog owners should not allow their dogs to sit on the newly refurbished chairs and benches. Would highly recommend !!!!!!
Nice little pub friendly customers and staff
It is exactly what it says, a village tavern. Friendly, staff and good banter with the locals. More male than female oriented but both treated equally well. It’s not an eatery, it’s s traditional pub; if you want glitz and glam it’s not for you.
We were in the 4 candles bar next door to the village tavern
Busy pub with a reasonably priced pint.
Brilliant little pub across the road from me, new manager doing the best job ever, definitely recommend this public house
