It's well located in the main street around the town centre just next to the park. Popular with the locals; we came to have breakfast and was well impressed!

Great pub, basic no frills, good atmosphere. Excellent place to stop for a drink or drink and meal. Order and pay at counter. No music as its a good meeting place for people to talk. The prices are excellent Β£6.75 for burger and chips and a drink included. Food hot and fresh, the chips were crisp on outside, soft and fluffy on inside, coleslaw was very good like home made. Woukd recommend and we will visit again.
Had a great night out with friends. If I could single out one of the best things about it, it was the attention to detail and help we had from Harry. We were a large group, all ordering food and drinks.

There were 3 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. We had chicken tika curry with nan and rice, rice a bit dry but cost very reasonable
Clean & tidy but a little tired in places. Had breakfast & food was hot & ok .Food is really cheap & tea & coffee is only Β£1.25 with unlimited refills at the machine that serves tea,latte expresso milky coffee Black coffee etc . Recommended for breakfast on a budget !
It's a cool, typical English pub. It's very common to see English older people drinking beer. Good staff, the only minus is that they close early. Large selection of alcoholic beverages, and the prices are the best
Busy at weekends with limited table areas to have meals. The meals are reasonably priced and the service can vary from waiting 20 mins up to 40mins

Food great everything OK but do feel the tills open should show e.g 1 or 2 signs saying in use as 4 tills are there but not always open , (but only 2 open today ) as people join queue then anyone can just comes in goes to the bar and ended up jumping those that where queuing ( had this while waiting today)
I recently visited The Arnold Machin - JD Wetherspoon and was impressed with the quick service and affordable prices. The staff were efficient and friendly, making sure that my group and I were well taken care of.
The beer selection was also great and, most importantly, cheap! It's not often that you can find quality drinks at such a reasonable price.
Overall, I had a great time at The Arnold Machin and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and affordable night out. If you're on a budget, this is definitely the spot for you. 5 stars
The meals are good value and they have a wide variety of food to offer, children's menu is also well organised. The food always seams to taste very well and they have a nice selection of deserts. They serve tea, coffee, latte as well as a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. The staff are friendly and polite but seam very rushed, maybe need more staff. The only thing I feel maybe letting the service down is they have a refillable coffee / tea machine which is always either not working due to running out of milk, coffee filters need changing ect. This needs either another machine or someone on designated to that area to look after the machines, sugar, cutlery ect. I'm sure this will please the customers much more rather than waiting 5 - 10 mins to get someone to come sort machines out
it was a nice place but typical weatherspoons a good standard in thus one at least on our family vist.
Had some food, and a few cocktails, good prices as you'd expect from a wetherspoons. Decent atmosphere and not too busy.
