I played here for the Newcastle Jazz & Blues Festival, great friendly staff providing a welcoming atmosphere in a vibrant yet quirky pub. If you are in the area I recommend getting a pint, and their cake!
Fantastic modern funky bar with a lovely friendly atmosphere to hang out at. This is well worth a visit to anyone who hasn't yet been to The Thirsty Giraffe. It has a well stocked bar with a wide verity of spirits and wines also a good selection of keg and cask beers, for anyone that's not yet been to visit get yourself down there Gareth and his team will make sure you feel welcome while you sit and enjoy a well earned pint or one of their special Gin and Tonics.
Superb venue, quality drinks on offer (They have a great pint of Blue Moon !), staff are really good and polite which also makes an afternoon or night out..
Will be visiting again..
My new favourite drinking spot, great selection of beer, looking forward to sampling the gin next time. The owner was so friendly, really knows his stuff and it shows. Decent opening hours, plenty of space with a fab refurb. Nicely done.

Came in on a Friday night and the place was hopping! A terrific music artist in the form of Andy Stonier, with all the crowd joining in. We didn't have to wait long to be served at the bar and the cider we sampled was delicious! Clearly they try to vary the drinks available, so we will be back again to sample some other beverages! Great night, great atmosphere and great drinks!
It was a fantastic place the cocktails and beers are great and tasty will definitely be going again and it is cheaper than some other places. Thier new is out of this world and if you like cocktails they have offers on of 2 for a £10 well worth it.
Lovely little craft ale and artisan gin bar. Great decor (reclaimed wood work etc.) great for a quiet drink with friends or for date night.
Friendly helpful young lady behind the bar. Good choice of beers. Also serve real ciders. Nice atmosphere.
