Had a family meal, the food was nice and the staff were very helpful and polite.
Gamon steak was very nice. I can recommend a pudding Carmel and Apple pie with custard 🍮🍮🍮🍮🍮🤤🤤🤤🤤

They appear to have a quiz night which means tables are pre booked from about 1930.
Food arrived quickly but I didn't have high expectations given this is a chain pub, so it's a ding and drop with a grill.

Celebrated our daughters birthday here tonight. Food was exceptional, and staff went out of there way to make her birthday special. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Can highly recommend this place for great food and atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff.
Really good, friendly service at the bar and from our server. Food was ok and when the scrambled eggs on buttered toast arrived with the toast unbuttered it was changed quickly without fuss.

A friend and i popped in yesterday for a bit to eat. We had monkfish and it was superb. The bearnaise sauce wasn't how I know bearnaise to be and once poured over the potatoes, i had to leave both which was a shame as proper bearnaise is delightful.

We had a very nice meal here - the menu is pretty standard, but the food was lovely. The pub is quite large but not noisy, the atmosphere is very friendly.

It was probably the best pasta carbonara i've ever tasted!
