Staff were lovely, food was good although not very warm. Was a long wait but didnt seem that busy with food orders. Some other customers, seemed to be locals/regulars, were loud and noisy with their kids running wild. Overall though, I did enjoy it and it was good value for money.
Great venue for live music, fast service, well priced. There was a minor incident that was dealt with promptly and showed that the door staff and landlord care about their customers' well-being. Highly recommended
Brill little pub, come every Tuesday with my friend for tea whilst our girls dance at the local dance school.
Love the fact it’s got regulars and staff are always welcoming.

Very quiet, unlike the Wulstan which I visited later. They had to close the kitchen early because the chefs could not cope with all the food orders.

Absolutely amazing pub! Staff are always smiling and friendly, food and drink is always to the best standard. The atmosphere is so welcoming every time you visit that you really feel at home with all the other customers whether you’re a someone who just pops in for lunch every now and then, a regular drinker or a newbie everyone is really looked after by staff!
Jess and the team were amazing when we recently held my relative's wake there. Nothing was too much trouble, the buffet was lovely and plenty of it.

We don't usually visit Friday lunchtime. It was mostly young families. The food was still lovely.
Whoever cooked our steak got it absolutely perfect . Staff are always smiling and will chat to you which i love in any public house. Fantastic all round

We went to our sons football team celebratory evening at the Britannia last night…what a brilliant evening. The function area was cosy and clean. The staff were excellent, so friendly. The buffet food they put on was lovely. It had a really nice atmosphere. Thank you 😊
We have just moved into the area and we have found our local. Friendly and welcoming staff who make it feel like a home from home and such a bonus to be able to sit outside in the sun and enjoy a cool drink and feel that sense of normality coming back. The added bonus is the quality of the food and the value for money makes you want to return for more as we certainly will be doing. The pie and ale pie at 2 for £9.99 is simply unbeatable and a credit to the team at the Brittania, well done and keep it up we as need pubs like this.
