We love it here, every Sunday we walk the dogs at Trentham and finish the day off with something to eat and a drink. Meals are fantastic value large portions and great choice, very impressed with the amount of Vegeterian options. Love the fact its Dog friendly too in the front bar. Cant praise this place enough regulars and staff very friendly we always feel welcome. Keep up the goid work :-)

Love it here, seem to be spending more time here than in my own kitchen! Such welcoming staff and the Sunday lunch is so tasty! Such a cosy, local pub

The fact that we spend at least 3 out of 4 Sundays at the Sneyd having Sunday lunch probably says it all. Good choice of food including Carvery. The pies are my particular favourite but all the food is good quality and good portions. It also a pleasant and friendly atmosphere to eat or have a quiet drink at other times

Delicious food in a cosy village pub with friendly staff. I had the gammon steak and it was excellent! Followed by the Chocolate Fudge Sundae! Back on the diet tomorrow! And even better... a pint was £2.99! When I'm staying at the Courtyard Marriot again I'll be sure to stop in for dinner!

Talk about breaking the mould! The new management have changed the Sneyd Arms standard and raised the bar. What used to be a consistent pub experience has changed to a bar and restaurant. The front of house bar is the same, and they've changed the back into a restaurant area. Despite a wait for our mains, the food is absolutely amazing, from the flavour of the fries and salad garnish to the main itself, and the quality of the ingredients, the new Sneyd Arms is making a bold statement in carving its mark. I had to order dessert to see if the puddings were as good as the mains, and I was not disappointed. My wife chuckled as I scooped the last of the chocolate fudge sundae, saying "get in my belly!" Overall, very pleased with the new menu. Looking forward to coming back.

We had lunch here on Friday 6th October, whilst on a visit to see our son at the nearby Keele University. It’s a lovely pub, in a beautiful village, and the food was very good. I had the steak pie, it was just the ticket. What’s prompted me to leave a review, however, was the exceptional service we received from Rachel. Although she was on her own, whilst we were there, she was; kind, helpful, friendly, organised, efficient, and in total control. She even found time to offer our son some friendly advice as he settles into University life (she is also a student, when not working at the pub). We will certainly eat there again and I am happy to recommend.

A brilliant location for Keele University. Sadly under-utilised. Hidden gem. Lovely bar. Great atmosphere. Great food and restaurant. Staff so friendly. Also visited with 2 dogs and can only go in bat, which is no way a put-down as the menu is fully available with a lovely atmosphere. Serving staff so obliging and efficient. A great experience all around

Great place! Went recently for their 'World Tour' they had running in the restaurant. It was Spanish week. Meatballs were delicious and the Patatas Bravas were perfect. Lovely, busy but calm, quiet atmosphere. Serving staff were very friendly and helpful with every question we had. Very cosy by the fire too. Nice place for a quiet meal and a drink.

Hired out the pub’s side building, ‘The Knights Templar’ for a family party. They did catering for us. The venue was great, so was the food and it was good value for money. We enjoyed ourselves and the staff was friendly and so accommodating. Thanks James.
