Beautiful location and I had a nice meal in the bar/restaurant. Only complaint was my room was extremely hot - couldn't leave my curtains open as other rooms had a view into mine. A fan would be a welcome addition

Food very good. Ate from the lunch menu... had a roast dinner and would have liked more vegetables....
Sat downstairs. A bit overcrowded and bench type seats hard to get into, but overall, a nice experience.

Visited the pub, not accomodation. Had a salmon special, and miss had a Caesar salad with salmon as add-on, an actual salmon fillet not just a slice of smoked salmon. We had a great time and got to chat with some friendly locals. It's our second time and it was great to catch up with a local we met

Warm and welcoming! We had food in the restaurant! It was a varied menu, at average prices! The quality of food was excellent, and the service was brilliant! There was no issue with us just walking in (with no reservation) the staff were very accommodating
Didn't stay overnight so can't comment on the rooms etc. Went for a baby naming ceremony. And buffet. Nice location and facilities. Buffet was excellent. Lots of good food and choice. Service was friendly and efficient.

We stopped off for lunch, and the food was excellent. My husband had the roast turkey dinner and said it was very good and lots of. I had the homemade quiche and salad, which was lovely.

I would rate my recent experiences of food and service as excellent...The bar staff, waiting staff and office staff are all extremely helpful and friendly and I cannot fault the food in any way. Quality and presentation has been excellent.

Surprise party, food very good, good pub menu, staff work hard and helpful, drinks fairly priced would have got 5 star review but no dark Rum. Enjoyed will be back.
We were looking for a wedding venue for our Daughter and Son in law to be. Slaters offer all under one roof from a beautiful location and Wedding Lodge to lovely rooms for the guests to stay. Lovely people and so helpful ❤️ Slaters just get better and better, so helpful and friendly. Looking forward
Had an amazing meal when they had a seafood special night 28th March. The service was impeccable and having been a fishmonger I know decent fresh fish when it's put in front of me! Best octopus I've ever had. Fabulous for a special occasion.
In the middle of nowhere, beautiful scenery. I went for a wedding but if need time out, it's perfect. The rooms are comfortable and spacious.
Busy on the day we visited for lunch good food, but the staff need to be a bit more cheerful and smile .
