As a fellow tea rooms owner I was so pleased to see this lovely shop open selling delicious homemade cakes . The menu is lovely and so tasty I would highly recommend you try it we will be back on my next day off
Had a delicious brunch at The Cakery yesterday to celebrate my birthday - the eggs with the eggs benedict were cooked to perfection, the coffee was fantastic & the atmosphere was great. So much love going into everything on the menu & unique cakes on offer every day - highly recommend!
After meeting Jackie on hols I said I would visit so we made the trip from Knutsford last Wednesday. It was well worth it cakes are fab loved my quiche and salad and our granddaughter had ham and cucumber sandwiches which were made for a child instead of a grown up portion. Well worth our trip will be back again.
If like me you love great coffee cute cakes and a great backdrop for your instagram the Cakery is a must visit! The Cakery is a great spot to meet friends, visit with your pooch or sit in the window alone and watch the world go by.
Ordered some cupcakes from here for my partners charity event and they were absolutely amazing, they were the first thing to go! Highly recommend! (Also bought a brownie which was perfectly gooey with a crunchy top and absolutely delicious �)

Found this little gem of a café while walking past with my puppy Max. My aunt and I were looking for a dog friendly eatery as we don't know Newcastle that we'll.
We were greeted very warmly with Max also getting lots of attention with cuddles and fussing. Sorry ladies but don't know your name's but many thanks for your hospitality and the gorgeous broccoli and Stilton soup with a warm bread roll and best butter. As my aunt doesn't eat white bread she was offered alternatives and was very pleased with the GI bread which she thoroughly enjoyed. We then had a very refreshing pot of tea and shared a lovely slice of lemon and elderflower cake. They have a wonderful and varied drinks menu hot or cold. An excellent homemade array of cakes and savory menu. Well done ladies and I will definitely tell all friends and family about your warm and friendly service and fab food and drinks. Lovely atmosphere, lovely cakes and the most lovely friendly women in the shop. And I can take my dogs. And did I mention cakes? Best in Newcastle �.
Discovered this little gem today. Great coffee, loved my smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. Very friendly staff. Didn’t try any �cake today, but lovely selection of home made cakes , all looked very tempting. Will be back for more.
Great food and atmosphere, staff are amazing and dogs are not only allowed, but welcomed and fussed. Really hope this place does well and grows as they really deserve it.

I was introduced to 'The Cakery' by a friend with great taste and food sense. Loved the food, the simplicity and the hospitality.
It's a place I now frequent and would happily take friends there like I am inviting them to my own home.
