First visit since the rebrand and menu changes and I have to say the food was beautiful. They no longer do the two for one deal but meal prices have come down so prices work out the same. The food was delicious and the steak I had was cooked just how I like it. The food was overshadowed however by our server Laura, and the reason for my review. She was helpful, friendly and very cheery. Everything was brought with a smile and I hope management see this and pass on praise to her for her fantastic customer service :)
Delicious food and fantastic friendly staff! The staff couldn't do enough for us tonight, made us feel very relaxed and very welcome. Would definitely recommend as a family friendly pub. 10 very happy customers �
Well me an my husband come here every week the staff are lovely nothing is too much trouble came here Christmas Day with Family food was good An service was too but food is good An steaks are very reasonable all food is very reasonably priced to suit all pockets even for families it’s our favourite place that’s why we come back week after week a big well done to you Jamie an all your lovely staff for making it such a friendly place to come 😘
went yesterday for lunch with two work colleagues and had a lovely meal. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good and hot. We would definitely go again.
We love it we eat there regularly, great service, great staff, great food can not fault it. It’s not a huge problem but there was not enough chips with my order but again it’s not a huge problem, we’ll be eating there again very soon I’m sure ...
Lovely food, I had steak & Ale pie, hubby had steak & chips and my daughter had sea bream we all throughly enjoy it. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Will be visiting again soon to try out the pizzas
12 of us went for my dad's birthday good range of food so everyone found what they wanted to eat. Our waitress Stacy was amazing gold star for her fantastic service. Hope management see this report.
We stopped here for a meal last night after my son said "That looks nice" - He wasn't wrong!!
Amazing service from the moment we walked through the door. Unsure of the waitresses name but she had beautiful curly hair. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made you feel welcome.
Food was lovely - not many chips tho and the pizzeria was amazing. My son loved being able to watch his pizza being made and cooked.
Will definitely be back next time we are in Newcastle under Lyme x

I organised a group birthday meal unfortunately several pulled out last minute. I couldn't apologise enough on arrival. However we were still greeted with smiles and a complimentary drink as it was another ladies birthday who was with us. The service was excellent and meal was gorgeous .A young lady and man served us
I enjoyed so much I took a leaflet regards Christmas meal for my work place where hopefully a minimum of 25 will attend . Highly recommended

Food was magnificent and well portioned, and even the pizza chef was polite.
There is a varied selection of drinks to choose from, even alcohol free, which was suitable for the wife :)

Visiting the area on business and called in on a Monday, mid afternoon. Although no reservation we were found a table quite quickly.
A good range of drinks, and tasty food cooked satisfactory.
A mention for cheerful staff member, 'Elizabeth ' who was helpful in answering any questions we had whilst also tending to other tables/wiping down etc etc.
Would go back if in area again.

Brilliant we've got a egg allergy in the family and this it the best place we've been for,with dealing with and allergy.the food all of it was spot on. The beer was brilliant all though probably abit pricey was nice. 10/10
