What a fab pub! The food was absolutely delicious, large portions and very tasty. There was also a wide range of meals to suit even the most pickiest of people! And the service was outstanding. We'll definitely be going there again.
For a first time, it was perfect. The food was delicious and thank you for "the doggy bag" as you call it in English, being French I did not know the expression, you learn something every day. The service and the ambiance were good. I will go again.
Absolutely amazing!! Me and my mate came up from Southampton and have found our Stoke local!! Brilliant staff, fantastic music from Gemma and just overall amazing!! Must visit
Our first time at the wagon and horses after lots of recommendations we eventually went for a meal and how tasty it was ,the chips were the best I've had whilst eating out . Would definitely recommend in fact we've booked for Sunday lunch it was so nice 👍

Lunchtime party and we had a fine time. Very good quality pub food, well priced and decent quantity. Hard to beat.Good selection of real ales all in excellent condition. Very friendly service. Well pleased with our visit.
We visited Saturday 20 May 2023. This was a hot day and it was nice and cool inside. I had braised steak, chips and veg. This was delicious and the chips were yummy!. The braised steak itself was tender and lean, a good portion size and smothered in yummy gravy. I have had this same meal several times before and today's meal was just as good as previous visits. The food has a lovely home-made feel and is very consistent in its quality.
My partner who is vegetarian had a customized salad baguette and chips which she liked. The only downside is that vegetarians are not really looked after here with a good variety of dishes, but it's pure joy for meat-eaters!!!

Really, really nice local spot. Very cosy and homely atmosphere, the staff are absolutely lovely. The food is delicious pub grub, and honestly, I’m shocked by how affordable it is. Great selection and pricing of drinks. One of the most enjoyable pub visits I’ve ever had, a true gem.
