I have been here twice earlier in the year. Yesterday took some friends so booked a table for the six of us.
So to break it down. A very nice welcome. Great staff. Prompt but unrushed service. Great food, starters and mains. Decent pricing. We eill be back.
Amazing food, attentive staff and I absolutely loved the elephant canvas! Portions are big, don't over order like we did! One of the best Indian food places I have ever visited! - I even tried the lime pickle, which was far more palatable than any other I tasted!

The food here is delicious, the staff are really nice and friendly, it’s an open plan kitchen which is nice that you can see your food being prepared. Prices are decent and the portion sizes are decent. Highly recommended.

I’ve just eaten at mods a lovely fella and the food was fantastic I sat in the back in the sun it was peaceful as I work away it’s nice to just have a bit of me time etc food was perfect garlic naan thin and crisp on the bottom 👍 if your staying in the Emlyn hotel it’s next door highly recommend

We had a very enjoyable meal at the Nahar the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Curtis in particular. The menu offered a wide range of dishes. The dishes were served hot and the quantity and quality of the dishes we had were very good and reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you are in Newcast
Had a really delicious and well priced meal here. Would definitely recommend.
We have ordered meals for 5 of us. Really delicious lovely food after a long time specially chicken kochi and butter chicken. Will definitely come back again when in this area.
Down for the weekend for a wedding. We arrived late so our hotel and some pubs had stopped doing food.
