The Swan Inn - Newby Bridge - Photo album

We recently visited for a short stay after our wedding, and we’ve got to say that it was the right choice. From arriving a short time after 3pm we got a very warm welcome from the reception staff, a complimentary upgrade (thank you). The Swan is just the perfect place to relax and take in the amazin
This hotel is located at the bottom of the windermere. Brilliant location and very easy to find. Parking is at the rear/side of the building with plenty of room. The food is extremely good, and breakfast is not to be missed. Have been to the hotel at least 3 times and never disappointed me. The
We had the ultimate pleasure of staying in the Love Nest for our little mini-moon. We have three kids and two dogs, so the absolute SILENCE that we were subjected to was out of this world. The service we received was 5 star, especially from Gill (or Jill) in the restaurant/brasserie, so please pass
Staff were very friendly & helpful, particularly a lady on the main reception called "Summer" She made us feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Regarding the room which was Okay and had a nice outlook. However the floor which was wood effect laminate throughout & was very dusty, was not
A beautiful hotel in a lovely location in the South Lakes right next to the river. The food is excellent. We ate in the pub and also had breakfast in the restaurant. We spent a couple of hours in the thermal spa which looks new. Very well kept. The room was spacious and comfortable. The one thing t

What an amazing place in such a stunning location. Staff were lovely and the bonus of a great swimming pool and area including steam and sauna rooms along with a very powerful Jacuzzi. Breakfast was the best and the room was utterly divine. Would we choose to stay at the Swan again....🤔😊, definite
The hotel itself and the surroundings are gorgeous. There are plenty of things to do nearby, and the surrounding area has heaps of lovely walks and hikes right on your doorstep - if you're feeling adventurous, be sure to check out Finsthwaite Tower. The choice of places to eat in the hotel, as well
Another lovely stay at the Swan! This time we stayed in the owl nest with some friends and as usual everything was great. We even got some sunshine and managed a fab walk. The kids enjoyed the park and the pool and played football and we enjoyed some lovely food in the pub. Thanks for having us agai
Wonderful overnight stay. We spent two hours in a fantastic spa. The room was spacious, well appointed and with a beautiful outlook. Dinner and breakfast were both prompt, delicious and efficient. Staff were attentive and resolved any issues immediately and in a friendly fashion. We will return in t
The Swan Hotel is an incredibly special place. Staff are amazing, rooms for dogs are spacious and the little gifts for them really help them settle! Health club is excellent, the sofas and fires are hugely inviting. The pool table could do with a bit of love but that's really the only thought we h
3rd visit and we managed to stay in one of the loft rooms which are stunning, staff all very helpful, especially in the spa. Only picky thing, considering the standard of room and normal price (we were on a deal price) the noise from the kitchen fans are quite noisy at night in the room. Everything
Had a spa day gifted, and 3 of us attended. The spa was lovely, loungers aplenty, water was pleasantly warm, large jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Lovely to relax, in the white robes. Changing facilities were good, showers, lockers, hair dryers, and straightners. Would like to return in the future
Lovely location and hotel, clean room and comfortable bed. Only issue was the hand dryer not working in the spa changing room and the hand-wash wouldn't come out of the bottle only a small issue though. The spa treatment was wonderful and all staff were friendly.
We try and stay at The Swan for a few days every year as a family. It is always a lovely, fun time with our daughters, set in beautiful scenery. As soon as we arrive, we relax into the calming atmosphere, be it in one of the sitting rooms, the games room, the bar or the spa. Everything is pretty
We stayed in the Hedgehog Nest at the end of February. We have stayed in the main hotel several times but this was the first time in a cottage. The cottage is lovely, cute decor, really warm, spacious, with lovely views. We had some birthday balloons delivered to the hotel and the staff set them up
Lovely location, and friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is the rowdy children that was in the spa ruined the zen feel for us. And the therapeutic pool was closed, this was disappointing as it was something we looked forward too. However the reception staff was lovely about it. The food is
Visited many times before, was a little apprehensive to return due to some recent poor reviews. However, still one of our favourite places to visit. Really quirky decor, love the bar area by the fires, good food and an excellent massage. Only downside was the outrageous parking prices which thankful
I visited the hotel with a small group of friends for some relaxation time. The hotel was lovely with friendly staff who were very welcoming especially in the bar where we had a lovely lunch. The food in the brasserie was tasty, well presented and very filling. We used the spa which was excellent. A
