Excellent service with attentive staff despite the bar being busy. Food was good and reasonably priced-great cocktails, love the 2 for 1 offer. Excellent selection for both food and drink-would recommend this place for both! We will be back :)
Dispite the menu change and prior notice about food shortages, this was still a fantastic place to stop off and soak up the event. Me and my wife celebrated a double occasion both her birthday and our wedding anniversary and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and deffo went over the top. They even gestured a bottle on the house for our celebration 🍾 lovely to see the customer service, and the whole good feel factor. 😀 thank you again to all staff who made out visit to Newbury a memorable one ❤

Very nice and clean place, I ve always loved it. The staff are really pleasant and polite. The food and drinks are awesome, really eye catching and mouth watering. You can order at the table by the app, you order one cocktail and get 2, moreover there is vegan options as well. Will go back anytime without any doubt. Thanks guys!!
Food of any slug and lettuce is average, not tasty and not photogenic .. We ordered Wrap and it was served like Prison food .. though I never went to prison 🤔, but I'm sure they be getting better 😆
Drinks are 1+1 but it's scam they're actually charging twice for 1 drink 😆
Brilliant service for the bottomless brunch. Definitely worth the money. Food was good, but I'm sure we got 2 courses at York in the deal. Maybe every venue different. My only quibble was that I emailed to ask if we could change the table from 2 to 3 - before getting a response we were actually near so I popped in before our allocated time and the staff were brilliant sorting an extra place - then I received an email to say this wasn't possible (luckily I only saw it after the event), otherwise we wouldve been finding somewhere for all 3 of us and i wouldve lost my deposit.
I recently visited this site and I’m amazed. This was the first time I ever stepped foot in a slug and lettuce- the staff are so kind and very helpful. The cocktails are amazing - I did only try Peach perfect and pina colada. However both drinks were nice. The food was really nice. Will definitely come back! Thank you slug and lettuce Newbury!

We had lunch outside on the water on a beautiful Saturday around 2:00. We had the breaded scampi, sweet potato fries and side salad. Everything was wonderful and the service was good. You pick your own table then order at the bar—they bring the food to your table. Inside the decor is eclectic and interesting. I recommend.
We came for a bottomless brunch and it’s great! Drinks are lovely and have been topped up as soon as they’re empty. Will definitely be returning
