Hog & Hedge - Newbury - Photo album

Wow, what a lovely cafe! Great attention to detail, lots of comfy space for eating, kids play area and fantastic customer service. The food and coffee is another area I highly rate, very affordable and premium quality! Would strongly recommend a visit, even if it's just to pop in for a coffee on yo
Nice place, staff are friendly and the coffee has a real distinct taste. The food is not to pricey, now cheap either but is well worth it. I float between this place and Camp Hobson and visit once every few weeks. Highly recommended.
3rd visit and food and service always excellent. Cooked breakfast is one of the best in town ,Cooked well and not greasy with a choice of scrambled or poached eggs.My only criticism would be to much clutter on the tables as cutlery and napkins take up to much room.
Nice friendly cafe with locally sourced products. Fast service. Portions large. Fairly standard menu selection for lunch with breakfast until 11:30. Baked potatoes had a nice topping and coleslaw although potatoes a little solid for my taste. Get the 1st floor tables with the view over the street. H
Could argue a bit pricy, £9.95 for a regular hot chocolate, ham & cheese toasty with a flapjack. However, friendly staff and comfortable seating. Food was tasty and the hot chocolate was really good. On the day I went, Thursday, hot food was served until 3pm.
My new favourite coffee shop in Newbury. We visited for breakfast and it was delicious
Great coffee friendly and efficient staff lots of seating
Staff were friendly and accommodating. The decor is modern and cosy.
After my husband taking me for a quick coffee on a first visit before an appointment - The place was welcoming, staff friendly , seating comfy and coffee great! 17/10/2018 - Husband decided that we go in for second visit. We weren't disappointed by the visit. Staff once again welcoming. Ordered c
Need to speed up ordering here as it is a real bottle neck. Food is good and service swift. Plenty of seating and popular. Vegan brownie the only brownie not to my taste and would prefer a non vegan brownie option. Other food good though. One size coffee keeps me healthy. Would go again.
Lovely cafe in the centre of town, very cosy atmosphere and great choice of menu for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free as well as a "standard" menu. Prices are very reasonable, food was good quality and the place was clean. I do win the menus were on the website, but it's easy enough to pop in with men
Really love this place. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food fantastic and really wanted more after I had finished my breakfast. Clean and relaxing. Honestly so many places to eat in Newbury but honestly you would be sorry if you don’t stop in here. Only complaint if I’m REALLY scratching f
Great coffee and friendly staff. The menu looked great, although I didn't eat on this occasion, but I will definitely return to sample the food very soon. A lovely addition to Newbury high street. 😁☕
Great food and best coffee in Newbury! Hog and Hedge source all of their food locally and are powered by renewable energy! The atmosphere is always great and their english breakfast is amazing! My favourite is the Italian chicken wrap off the lunch menu with a shot of soup!
Finally decided to try out the upstairs seating. Thankful of the lovely staff who offered to help me carry my buggy with the sleeping toddler in. And it was worth it. Twice the size as downstairs, more light and an even greater relaxing feel. Lunchtime stop was perfect and thank you
Really nice coffee and sausage sarnie. I understand that everything is locally sourced which makes a refreshing change for a high st coffee shop. Friendly table service and plenty of space. Dontcreally understand why people would prefer the big chain over this.
