Visited this lovely place for lunch recently. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and good portion sizes. We felt this was really good value for money. Service was fast, we didn’t have to wait long for anything (not that it mattered too much as the ambience of the place was good). Everything seemed tidy and clean too which was good. They had a picturesque outdoor area and dogs are welcome too which is a bonus. I think the dog areas are separate though, if you aren’t keen on being around them. We will be returning again for sure.

This is our "local" and has recently been taken over by new people. You never know how that will go! Luckily they are great. Very friendly and welcoming, as are the serving staff, who are also very efficient. Happy to spend time here. I can't comment on the food as I'm not a food person, but I've heard it's good. Great range of Badger beers . Very cosy, without overpowering music or TVs ruining the atmosphere, a problem in a lot of places. I'm lucky to have this as my local pub.

Stopped in on Sunday night heading back to Wales. Warm welcome, nice greeting and warm. Nice menu with some good choices and reasonable prices. Drink brought to the table and the service was very quick as it was fairly quiet. Lovely food, happy, full and back on the road.

Lovely pub. Nice gardens outside with seating. It is a lovely traditional country pub inside with great food and friendly, helpful staff. Portion sizes are great and the specials were fantastic. Good beer and wine selection. Would definitely recommend.

We just had a wonderful three course meal at the Swan. The man and lady who served us when we got there were so attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, lots of options to choose from and incredibly good quality. It's great that they serve food all day and they're really dog friendly which was so nice.

Chancing a table after a walk around Greenham Common at the weekend. Informed no available tables for party of 6 adults, but if could find a table outside, we can eat in their 'garden'. Wasn't too cold, so we did this. The garden has a lovely brook running across the back of the venue, with a lovely little footbridge to take ppl across to more benches. We only had a small lunch (bacon, avocado and poached egg on sourdough crostinis) a starter at 7.95. it was enough for us to get by until dinner in the evening. Tasted lovely, egg was decently poached, and the bacon reasonably crisp. Nice one Swan! 😁😋

Great welcome as soon as we stepped through the door by the new owner. Service was cheery and fast. Portions were generous, and the food was wholesome and delicious. Wish we lived closer in order to be able to visit again. Good space for parking, clean and pleasant surroundings too.

Sunday lunch was excellent. Excellent roasts. We felt that we were dining in a library as there was lots of old books with in reach. One roast was forgotten, but quickly fixed. We will return

Wonderful place! Beautiful building, great food & fabulous staff.!... the first experience was me turning up with my dog, too late for food service, but lovely, welcoming Scottish lady sorted out a huge bowl of home-made soup & granary bread anyway!.. as well as a bowl of water for pooch. So I came back with friends the following day at lunchtime to have the full choice of menu & wasn't disappointed! This place is on my favourites list. 💜🐾

Went for a light snack and we all chose the Classic Prawn Cocktail which was pretty good 10/10 and we all enjoyed it. Staff were great and we all loved the place. Will definitely return and have a full meal!

Great pub, good setting, quick service. Especially liked the sharing platter starters. Had lunch here a few days ago, quality still very good and quick service. The beer garden looks good and we love the stream running though. A very relaxing atmosphere.

Popped in for an early lunch with a buddy, her baby and dog, after a walk on Greenham Common. Staff were very accommodating, good beers, excellent food. Very lovely beer garden. Would recommend and come back.

Really great place with plenty of cosy seating in the older part. The newer section looks good too and outside seating is wonderful as well. Food was good and so was the staff. Big portions of the salad and fish and chips. Burgers on the smaller side I felt. But overall, I would definitely go again.
