Visited "Goat on the Roof" for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The goat cheese and fig was an absolute delight, and the pork belly melted in my mouth. Also, the veal and tuna, as well as the beans, were beyond delicious. Every dish we tried was a hit. Can't wait to return!
Amazing. First time here but won't be the last. Food was exceptional, staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu, atmosphere/decor is top notch. British tapas at its finest. A bit pricey but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. It's hard to pick any particular standout

It was every bit as good as I hoped, with exceptional food, lovely wine, great service (sitting at the bar) and a very relaxed and relaxing atmosphere
It's just the best menu of food I've ever tasted. So inventive with a broad range of ingredients. Lovely service in a pretty part of Newbury.

The service was also flawless which made for a wonderful evening. Can't wait to go back again. Oh and if the lost bread is on the desert menu then do you
5 stars. For the high level of food served, the prices were very good. All British or local produce which is great and change from most restaurants.
