The Fox At Peasemore - Newbury - Photo album

Stopped by for lunch and had one of the best beef and ale pies in years. Generous amount of beef, deliciously seasoned. Only thing that I'd suggest improving is the mash potato, mine was dry and not appetising. My friend ordered hers with chips and they were delicious. We loved the option of "mini"
We had a brilliant Sunday meal at the Fox, thanks to Ali and co for your great hospitality. The food was all delicious and there was plenty of it. Highly recommended a visit here!
Lives up to every inch of anticipation. We had high hopes following the stellar reviews and the place really delivers. Service on another level, incredibly helpful and friendly. The starters were a delight - Not overwhelmed with salad as some pubs do. Tasted fresh and home made, the crispy squid a
Cosy pub/restaurant with delicious options. Another hidden gem found in a beautiful countryside. Food was lovely and serve in a good portion. The staffs are very attentive and helpful. The only thing I hope that the restaurant will invest on a proper coffee machine. Overall, we love the restaurant s
Myself and my parter stayed at the air b and b here and ate at the pub and all of it was fantastic, Lauren and her husband were so welcoming and the food was so delicious as was the wine. Good taste with decor, we even got to see wild hares running about outside the bay windows. Will definitely be r
High quality roast! And the desserts were divine. I have the Apple pie. Pastry was light & crumbly. The quote on the menu is very appropriate… “the country pub worth the drive out”
Lovely spot in the middle of (West Berkshire) nowhere;-). Surprisingly gets busy and bubbly! Lots of space to sit inside, in the front, or back garden. Food was delicious and fresh. I'd definitely come here again to discover more flavours.
Enjoyed an outstanding dinner and dessert here. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Went for a fantastic lunch for my birthday with family and kids. The service was excellent. The food came altogether, was of great quality and very well presented. Couldn't ask for more really!
Food was good and your girl behind the bar taking my order alerted me to upgrading my squid starter to a light bite with some excellent French fries. Also enjoyed the pint of local real ale 3.8%, forgotten its name. Service was a bit slow but understandable as I was one of a party of about a dozen b
Driving home from the Welsh Borders to West Sussex in our Motorhome we found this gem of a pub on Search for Sites. We arrived during a very busy Sunday lunch service, but the owner helped us with parking our van and slotted us and our dog into a cozy corner in the bar area. We had a fabulous meal
A great place to stop for a break on a bike ride. Beer is good and the food is decent. The service is friendly and the location is lovely. I expect I will be back here in the near future.
Not far off M4 down country lanes. Met a friend for lunch. Serves good ale and the food was excellent ..we both ordered lambs liver and bacon over mash with gravy and veg. Best I've had in a long time and generous portion. Didn't have a dessert but saw the next table and they looked excellent and al
Called on the off chance of a Sunday roast with out booking. No problem, find a table and we'll take a drinks order. What a good choice, three roasts, plus plenty of other options. You know it's all prepared for you, when it takes a while to arrive. Beautiful rump of lamb served pink just as it shou
Another great pit stop, lovely welcome, great staff, quick service, great food, & beer. Great decore. Must try again for dinner...

Excellent lunch here 2 weeks ago, good menu to choose from, all food served promptly, with a smile freshly prepared and hot.
Quality food in a very warm environment. Attention to details starts with homemade bread, same applies to gluten free options, so even celiacs would get a burger with their own GF bun. Excellent dishes with superb deserts, you can't miss their sticky toffee pudding, still the best we ever had anywhe
