I've visited The Daffodil Tearoom several times recently during a visit to the UK. The location in the picturesque village of Eakring is just beautiful. The coffee is great, the food is delicious & the staff welcome you as if you're an old friend. There is something more than all of that which keeps drawing me back though. It's the feel of the place. For some reason I just feel incredibly relaxed & at peace there. I highly recommend you give it a try. ❤
A great cafe serving hot and cold food, lovely cakes and a range of drinks. Staff are excellent and didn't break a sweat dealing with large numbers of cyclists during the men's Tour of Britain. Highly recommended.
A lovely spontaneous visit the other day, came across it by chance and now added to the list of places I want to return to with others (to show it off). Food was amazing, super friendly staff and the coffee...if you're anywhere near this place you owe it to yourself and stop in. Thanks for taking good care of us and we'll be back!
What a gem of a place!!! Loved everything! We had pizzas (Stilton and fig, and roasted garlic and mozzarella). Delicious!! Took carrot and lemon drizzle cake as a take-away, and both were yummy too! Were definitely recommend, and will be back
Went with a small group of friends this morning for breakfast, followed by cake …. Well why not as the cakes looked too good not to try.
The staff were really helpful and generally really nice people.
Venue was perfect too.
Would recommend, had a lovely morning out, thank you.
I stopped leaving reviews some time ago because I lost faith in the review process after reading some of the utter rubbish that is written about some lovely places (and probably by people who have never actually been to them) ....but I simply can't help myself with this place, it is one on its own, nothing quite like it, it's a bit like home from home with truly amazing and delicious rustic food and the best chips EVER! A recent find for me and my hubby and we will definitely be going again, and again and again. Truly lovely staff too - a real hidden gem. Thank you
Love this place! Absolutely beautiful here and can't wait to return. The food, staff and location are amazing would recommend to anyone. I was passing through the village for the first time at the weekend with my son (he is autistic) and they were so welcoming and friendly, we will be back as soon as in the area for sure ☺️
Have eaten here many times and the food is delicious and the staff are fabulous …… always friendly and welcoming !! Would highly recommend visiting the Daffodil whether it’s for a coffee, cake & catch up with friends or one of their delicious main meals !
Customers with food allergies are also really well catered for with a great variety of choice from the menu.
The two recent negative reviews were left by extremely rude and ill mannered people who were very disrespectful to the staff and their comments should be totally disregarded. The Daffodil is a lovely little tea room where unfortunately there will always be the odd customer who thinks they should have preferential treatment over every one else . Thankfully the vast majority of customers are polite and appreciate the great service from all the staff at the Daffodil !
After going to most cafes/ tea rooms in the area this place is hands down the best. The customer service was incredible. The food was so fresh and flavourful. The French eggy bread 10/10! Sausages 10/10 bacon 10/10
We will be back!
I visited for the first time today as part of four cycling from Nottingham, very friendly staff, the food was excellent, the quality and size of portion (A Bacon and Sausage on granary for me) was first class, a sun trap courtyard, spotless toilets too.
We will be back
Congratulations on your excellent Cafe
