Great to find this quaint stop off on the way to Lincoln,a good choice of food alternatives for vegetarian although not much for vegans, I had black filter coffee as they had no pay milk, it was delicious
Lovely staff and place, family friendly, wide variety of fresh hot and cold food and the only place where we found freshly squeezed orange juice ( a treat that gave us enough energy to go back to drive)!
Great alternative to stopping at a McDonald’s or a little chef, home cooked food all from local farms
Good breakfast in a just slightly too cold room. The choice was good, and the breakfast came with toast and a drink. Gluten free options were available which was a pleasant surprise for some. Friendly staff and a comprehensive farm shop as part of the enterprise. We would go again.
Stopped here on the way back from a few days break. Just saw the sign and pulled in so had no idea what to expect. Really lovely place. Very clean. Lots of parking including disabled. Separate mens, women's and disabled toilets. Lots of homemade food and using local ingredients. Good selection of te
Fantastic freshly cooked local food, if you have to stop anywhere on the A1 this is the best place with out a doubt. We have made the 45min journey from home just for the roast beef dinner and fantastic yorkshire pudding. Miss this place and you miss out on some fantastic freshly cooked food. If onl
Wow. Just wow. We were at the show ground next door for the weekend and thought we'd try The Friendly Farmer as it was within walking distance. Definitely NOT disappointed! Had the carvery and it was fantastic. Staff were lovely too. Highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant
Called in for a quick bite to eat at 13:30 hrs on a Wednesday whilst traversing the A1 / A17. Very quiet so got served promptly. Beef & horseradish sandwiches were fine. Toilets cleanliness OK, but overall the whole place looks like it could do with a bit of redecoration.
Quite surprised how spacious it is here. Good cafe. Service not dissapointing except when i called and a coach load waiting. Gift ideas, beers and more.
Clean and well run. Toilets. Lovely open fire in cold weather. Huge car park and wheelchair friendly parking and doors.
Worth a visit
Not very often I bother with reviews, and then only for exceptionally good or bad service, and this was definitely at the upper end of the scale. Stopped off on the way to London for an English breakfast. I had 3 sausages, 2 eggs, beans, coffee and 2 rounds of toast, my son had the same plus 3 rashe
Such a lovely place to stop of at. We arrived at about 2:30. So after the lunchtime rush and it was lovely and quiet. The food is homemade and very comforting. However the choice was somewhat limited as we had arrived after lunch. They are very baby friendly however the baby change facilities, which
A great array of wholesome products and fresh coffee. Stumbled across this place whilst needing a toilet break on a long journey. Now it's a regular Pitt stop. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. The food always smells fantastic.
First visit here, recommended by one of our party. On our way to Lindesfarne, 15 of us in a mini bus. No problem parking and plenty of seating. Toilet facilities good.
Everyone seemed happy with service and refreshments, I particularly liked the Sultana and almond slice that I chose to accompany my
Lovely friendly staff, good prices, lovely food and great selection and clean! Can't ask for much more!! They serve a Sunday carvery but also have a normal menu on a Sunday so something for everyone. Definitely will be coming back x
Lovely cafe, food was tasty and shop was full of farmers produce. Lots of goods I'd never seem before such as re-usable waxed cloth as a replacement for plastic. Bread, cakes etc to take home too. We always pop in on our way to and from holiday in Norfolk
