Although a little blip with wait time. Management explained and resolved which was more than expected. Some other pubs could learn from this place. Excellent customer service and the food brilliant along with friendly helpful owners.
Friendly helpful staff. Very busy on Sunday so do book a table. Excellent fresh hot home cooked food. Had to wait for food but well worth the wait. Very good value for money.

We rehearsed Brassed Off upstairs in this pubs function room which is a great space and everyone was so accommodating.
On the pub side, there is a selection of real ales (limited) usual draught beers and a selection of gins. Food is home made and freshly done so piping hot.

It was a reception in the back room. The food was good as was the service. But it was rather cramped, the tables were too big for the room. Once you were sat down against the wall you could not get out without desturbing everyone else.
Very reasonable prices friendly welcoming staff will go again
