Great pub and lovely food...visited on a Friday lunchtime and had homemade cottage pie with fresh veg, thick cut chips and gravy...can recommend the Guinness as well! π
Love this bar/restaurant. Never had a bad meal, staff always friendly & attentive. Perfect location & always clean with a stylish decor.
Love this place, great selection of beers, Stuart, Alison, Andy, Natasha and Rusty the dog are great, make you feel at home! Fantastic job they are doing to bring this proper pub back up to date! All I can say is give it a try! And BTW I hate darts!

The white swan is a great pub I have been in there many times over the years . The new landlord and his family are very good and friendly people. It's a shame that it may soon be closed, another loss to the locals of Newark. What a shame and waste because it seems that the breweries are not interested in pubs that don't return big revenue to them . In other words they don't really care about the punters .

Went on a Friday night for drinks with hubby, atmosphere was great, server was sweet. Was a fun time.
Good local pub for good local people. Had a live music playing tonight. If You want want something fancy or posh - this place is not for you. And remember - cash only!!
