Saw this place on maps looking for somewhere nice to stop for lunch with a 2 week old baby with us. Had a lovely lunch with great customer service.
Food arrived while my husband and daughter were away from the table, the lady who brought the food asked if they were off exploring and offered to find
We had a fantastic wedding breakfast at Strays, the food and drinks were delicious, the manager and staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again in the future
A sprawling cafe with lots of room inside and great courtyard area. We had lunch which was very good but the service was better friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended if you are after a light lunch in Newark.
First, everything was perfect.
The coffee was superb and we tried a very good Nutella cake.
The music is generally jazz, very good selection and not loud.
The atmosphere and energy of the place is very good and the staff kind and friendly.

Great place for coffee and lunch. Nice helpful staff and nice atmosphere. However, the jazz music was playing rather loud and we had to speak up to be heard at our table. The friendly waitress did turn it down but the next CD played was even louder! We will be back though, as we do every time we vis
I've been visiting Stray's from time to time. I like this place. Unique, charming climate with some tables in places separated from others. So you can feel like at home. Tasty breakfasts and good strong coffee. Last time ordered breakfast consisting of Benedict eggs topped with bacon and wholemea
Lovely cafe and a great choice of cakes, coffees and food. Friendly staff and great customer service. I have to say their Hot Chocolate is superb and outstanding!!!!
Lovely people. Always service with a smile even when really busy. Good coffee too. I havent eaten here but it all looks good
Very good food bit hectic very busy my food came out first before the drinks and the teacake came last. 😁Dog friendly. 😉
