Secretly located pub close to A1 and A46 just outside Newark-on-Trent. Perfect staff and lovely back garden.
What a find! A lovely gastro pub in a lovely village. The service was excellent. Ollie and his team of young waiters were superb. Attentive but not in the way and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was really relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and
Lovely staff, great food and cold beer! The staff very kindly allowed me to park my lorry in the corner of the car park overnight after a very long day. A warm place with very friendly staff and beautiful food. I would recommend to anyone and next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely be calling in
Lovely pub with a wonderful garden. Fit for a great pint and bite to eat. Only four stars as had to wait a while..... Though trust me when I say, the fish n Chips is the best you will ever have!
Great staff, they where really really busy but took time to get us snack and not send out hungry. 5+ from us. Beautifully kept pub very clean, helpful service. Please book ahead to avoid disappointment

As part of a walking group we often pre walk a route before taking a large group and of course try out a pub for lunch. Today Sunday lunch was an option on the menu, Beef or Lamb with all of the trimmings. Fabulous is probably the right word to describe it. Looking forward to taking our walking gr
Lovely country pub! Food is delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ Emma and staff go above and beyond!
Had a meal there this evening, itโ€™s been my first visit. The 2 waitresses were lovely and attentive. I asked one of them to recommend a dish as I was spoilt for choice. The pie she recommended was absolutely delicious, very well made and presented. Meal was very filling and couldnโ€™t finish it. Have
Lovely spot for lunch or dinner, always a friendly welcome. Has a good pub garden as well.
Lovely place with nice staff team and a good selection of pale ales and lagers. Nice shaded garden area.
Very quiet night on our visit, I had Pigeon Breast for a starter and their Fish & Chips, great food, great service and reasonably priced.
A very lovely village pub, a good sized beer garden, a good bar area and restaurant, the for we had was delicious, came out in good time and not a small portion. Be was good and a good selection of types. A great place to go for a Sunday afternoon stroll.
Great atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. More of an eating pub than a drinkers pub, but don't let that fool you. The beer is good too, with a good choice โœ”๏ธ
