Superb cafe, with lovely staff and amazing food and drink. Worth a visit even if you aren't catching a train. Highly recommend a visit especially for breakfast.
Afternoon tea was inviting and delicious in an unusual, atmospheric setting. My two ladies thoroughly enjoyed their birthday treat. Attention and service was very good. Very accessible for wheelchair users from the station platform. Parking plentiful on a Saturday afternoon at a flat £2 rate.

Excellent venue full of character. We attended an 80th Birthday party here with a jazz band. Great atmosphere and lovely staff who got the perfect blend of being there to help but not in your way. Lovely food as well. Would not hesitate to recommend it whether for a do or just for a coffee. Alcohol
