A really amazing pub!!! I am vegan and although there were no options on the menu both times I visited they made me a dish- fresh and wonderfully tasty... couldn’t recommend enough
Great food at great prices , well worth the money , I was able to take my dog in the bar area which is fantastic the only thing I could say to improve would be the staff don't get me wrong they were very friendly but the server spilt a whole latte all over the floor and all over my friends hand bag and not even an apology , service was slow and a little mixed up (no cutlery, didn't wait to hear if we wanted any ketchup mayo etc) apart from that it's def a place I would go to again if I was in the area x
Lovely place to be . I hosted a 50th party their in Nov , eaten their since and was their this New Years Eve, fantastic nights of fun , great food and all staff are very welcoming ,we can also take the dog . Aiden O'Brian was brill NYE , will be back very soon. Keep up the good work �
Pizza's are fab, loads of space to sit and have a good natter. Always have a good night when we go to Oscars, it's our go to meeting place! Definitely recommend it.

Lovely pizza! Really nice beer. Friendly service. Clean loos. There is nothing bad to say about this place apart from i live in the west mids and its to far away for me to visit as often as i would like. Also dog friendly! And my little terrier loves the pizza too!

Excellent little place. Friendly staff, pet dog and superb pizza. Only in town once a year and wouldnt go past this place for food.

Fantastic large pizza which the lovely friendly staff boxed up for us to bring home as plenty left. Like that you can choose half & half with different toppings. Was lovely sat outside in the sunshine with a cold lager.
Great place, with fantastic staff. We were all well looked after during our Christmas gathering in the Peterson bar. The food was amazing as usual and everyone had a fantastic night. Thank you Lesley, David and the whole team for making our night run so smoothly xx

We were a large party there to celebrate a birthday. We had pre-ordered our food, which was all excellent, could not believe the size of the pizzas! The staff were friendly very attentive. The live music was an added bonus, great tunes but not so loud you couldn't still chat. Fantastic night all round, great to see Oscar too.
We were visitors to Newark, found Oscar's Inn , not too busy we ordered a pizza it looked great, was baked in a large tray also tasted great. We couldn't finish it so they boxed up the left overs. Also sampled a lovely cider really enjoyed our meal at Oscar's Inn Thanks

The menu is great and they’ve added touches to make your dining experience special… it’s not the boring menu that most places put out.
The mussels were delicious 😋 with a sauce that added a slight kick to the palette. My friend had the Dahl and likewise thoroughly enjoyed it.
Service was also spot on.
Both had puddings.. again delicious 😋
We were in Newark for one night and Oscar’s was just round the corner.
It had a pleasant atmosphere and very lively for a Saturday night.
The food was great I had the beef rib and my wife had the fish.
The couple next to us had pizza and it comes in a neat wicker tray and it was huge. I almost wished I’d had it that instead.
Great place worth a trip.
Came here with a group of work colleagues and we shared some drinks and some lovely pizzas! They were massive and so delicious! Beer garden is massive and plenty of seats for everyone. The pub isn’t wheelchair accessible from what I’ve seen but the beer garden is. Would definitely be back for the pizzas!
The pizza is really great here, enough for 2 and they do half and half if you can't agree on what you both want (or just want to mix it up). A few decent ales on tap too

Friendly bar staff and a really nice atmosphere in the pub. The food was delicious too, and they had a good selection of beers available on tap.
Oscar's Inn and John, the Assistant Manager in particular, came to our rescue when a venue let us down for our family gathering to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. We were able to have part of the bar area and had a wonderful buffet and pizzas. The quiches were particularly delicious, as were the chips. The food was presented really well and served right on time. Thank you so much John for accommodating us and doing everything we asked for professionally and reliably.
Good pub, great service. Nice snug type area and the other side more a restaurant feel. Good real ales. Don’t eat but menu looks spot on
Yes we were back at Oscars, and we were not disappointed. This time it was for a private party. The pizzas are the best. The service at the bar was very friendly. Good work to all the staff at Oscars keep up the good work.
Amazing pizza's. Huge and tasty. Great location with good parking. Nothing for the kids and drinks are pricy but we go for the food. Nice clean interior and outdoor seating.

Only went for a quick lunchtime drink with friends. Sat outside in an area that used to be part of the carpark. Lots of HUGE tasty looking pizzas were being served. Will have to try one next time!
Really impressed! Been waiting ages to try their famous pizzas and finally got the chance this weekend. Rung up to book a table which was a breeze. Had a wheelchair user with us, and we arrived to find the ramp set up so we could get in. Food was fantastic as was service. The pizza definitely lived up to the hype! 1 pizza and a couple of sides fed a family of 5. Try the Truffle Parmesan Fries! Got ready to leave and didn't even have to ask - the ramp was out again ready for us to get out. We'll definitely be back!
Great pub for couples and groups, six real ales with two of my favourites, Woodfords Wherry and Timothy Taylor Landlord. Great pizzas we had. Half goats cheese and green pesto and brie and steak, so large we finished for breakfast.
Had a lovely lunch today at @oscars.inn.newark catching up with family. Service was quick and friendly, I always love watching people reactions to the size of the pizzas when they come out 🍕 🤣 Caesar salad for me today though.
Fabulous local pub, friendly reception, good draft selection and the best Guinness in Newark. Pizza is enormous, kids food is great - open fire in the winter and a decent outdoor space in the summer.
Perfect pizza and really friendly staff with a very cosy atmosphere and good selection of Ales. Highly recommend. Really dog friendly with a menu just for dogs.
