First time visiting and we will most definitely be back! Food was absolutely delicious and price wise very reasonable. Staff were a little over attentive which did make us feel a little rushed but we put this down to them being a little on the quiet side all were very friendly.
Another great place to eat in New Romney. I saw another review say the pizza wasn't great but that couldn't be further from the truth, maybe the reviewer was more used to greasy Dominoes or Pizza Hut than a more authentic pizza. The base was crisp, crust soft and the meat was clearly fresh. The calzone nduja was also excellent, everything included worked really well together and there was a good level of spice. I would definitely recommend to others who are fans of Italian cuisine.
What a delightful place… the service was great and the food was tasty, we educated them on how to make a Negroni and it was good… definitely worth a visit if you are nearby !!
A lovely restaurant that we have been to a few times, and is extremely consistent in terms of food quality and service. The waiting staff are a delight and cannot do enough for you. Their menu represents good value for money. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a good restaurant. Think about making a reservation as they do get busy.
Very good restaurant experience. Good food, kind staff. The vegan pizza rustica was very authentic and delicious. I had to ask for vegan options because they were not visible in the menu and got a pizza verdure with super tasty vegan cheese.
It was a really pleasant surprise to discover an authentic Italian restaurant of such excellent quality. The ingredients are obviously imported. I had a vegan pizza which was superb and my date had a Al Forno pasta which was also top notch.
Tried this place for the first time whilst staying in New Romney and looking for a gluten-free delivery option.
Cannot recommend the food highly enough. Absolutely outstanding and will be back again, both to takeaway and to eat in. Thank you for a very real treat!
Lovely place to meet up with friends, family etc. The food was great. Good food choices on the menu. Staff were friendly, happy, and very accommodating. Will be returning very soon.
My first time eating at Ruzzo and it didn’t disappoint. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was lovely. I hate it when you go somewhere and the staff let it down, not the case here. The whole team were brilliant and laughed and joked with our table. They even stayed open a little later so we could have dessert. I had the gluten free carbonara and was really tasty. I will be returning regularly, Thank you
Greeted at the door by staff and directed to a table. On recommendations from a co worker I ordered the Carbonara El Forno and a pizza.
Food arrived hot and ready with the server offering "real" parmigiana cheese for each dish. The El Forno was lightly crisped and brown on top followed underneath by a thick white sauce with crispy pancetta and chicken that blended well with the pasta. The pepperoni pizza was too thin and crispy that held up. Flavours with both dishes was very good but we had no room for dessert.
Highly recommended. The food was really good indeed. The bruchetta and gnocchi, especially!
