Lovely old school curry. We were visiting friends who live in the area and this is just as good a curry as we get back in London, not just catering for western palates! We all had different dishes and I had the recommended house special - which was a hot and sour curry. It was really delicious and different from the others we shared. Upon speaker to Sam the owner he brought the recipes over from Bangladesh and continues to do so. The decor inside is incredible - none of this bland generic line of tables but a row of curtained booths. Park on the street or just behind the restaurant are spaces for about 5 cars. Finally the staff are so lovely- really polite and helpful. Great place.
I visited here with my family whilst on holiday. What can I say. Stunning beautiful food, fresh, hot & generous portions. The staff were so friendly and accomadating. Lovely people. One of the best curry's I've ever had - the naans were unreal! 100% recommend! Thank you The Raj 😊

My wife and I ordered a Mix Curry made up of Lamb, Chicken and Prawns and a Mix Veg with two Chapattis, yum yum 😋.
All washed down with a Cobra beer and a Pineapple juice.

We’ve been coming here for the last 7 years and we still love it. You can’t beat a restaurant where they know your name, your usual drink and your favourite table! The food is always tasty and the staff friendly and chatty. The best Indian restaurant.
Visited twice as a couple while on holiday in recent years. As a traditional curry house the Raj does not disappoint. Great curries, attentive service and a unique decor that helps makes it memorable place to visit. We look forward to visiting again!
Amazing and tasty food, and so easy to order and get it delivered to us. Highly recommend. The butterfly king prawn and lamb biriani were lovely! Portions were so generous we have enough for tomorrow too.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant is open after 11pm on a Sunday! I was starving after skipping lunch and working late and saw they were open, I popped in and ordered a takeaway. By the time I had finished my half pint of Cobra, my meal was ready. The food was very good although I ordered a bit too much! The staff were great and they were happy to chat with me while I waited. I will come back with my wife and dine in sometime soon for a date night 👍🏻
Best Indian I've had in quite a while. Good value for money. Poppadoms and sauces were amazing.

This place is awesome. The owners are very lovely and the food is mind-blowing. The food was absolutely fresh and extremely tasty. The quality was evident. It is difficult to find such restaurants making authentic food even in Bangladesh and India.
