I really enjoyed my visit to Archie's. The staff were wonderful, very polite and helpful. Food options were a bit limited on my visit, but nevertheless I enjoyed my cheese on toast. Nice selection of beer available as well. I'd love to come back and try some more food. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here on my next visit to New Mills.
Lovely cafe/pub, great food, reasonable prices, delightful staff, and they have a piano for anyone to play!
The best cake I have ever had. Fluffy, soft and sweet - the full package. The beers here are the best in the industry and the service is second to none. If you're looking for a savoury treat then Archie's nachos truly are something else. The cheese is melted to perfection whilst the guacamole, tomatoes and sour cream make are the perfect compliment.
Best place in New Mills. Friendly staff. Always welcoming. Big but CRAPED on by lease holder after business took off.
Hope they get another venue.
Millers refillers hurt a lot of people with their cancelation of lease to Archie's.
I’d never understood the phrase ‘home away from home’ until I visited archie’s. As soon as I walked in I was met by a wide-beamed smile, that of the lovely and oh so accommodating Jack. He was so funny. He even played a well intentioned rendition of green sleeves on the chic piano.
Only called in for a couple of coffees but will be back. Lovely atmosphere and service. Also had opportunity to visit the spice, pulse, pasta, nut, whole food, etc, shop that shares the same premises. Will stock up next time.
Always a welcoming place. Really great tasting food and local beers. Open 4pm-11pm. Tuesday to Saturday. Sunday until10.

First time visit loved it a great night, but I have now heard they are closing, that would be a shame thanks for a good night
