Another trip to New Malden and another opportunity to try one of the little Korean restaurants on the high street. I’d heard good things about Hamgipak and so I headed down towards it from the train station. It was so cold and the windows of the place wer

Amazing food! Highly recommend the sizzling spicy pork and the soy sizzling beef! Every dish I’ve had from here was delicious! Great service they are very attentive and helpful also in explaining dishes on the menu. I’ve been twice in the past month because it’s so good! I think it’s very good value for money for the portion and quality of the food 😍 I will be back! Always recommend the plum wine 👏🏻

The dishes are excellent and never disappoint. I always visit at dinner time after doing my shopping at H-Mart. The waiters are very friendly and attentive and the food is delicious (absolutely anything on the menu). My personal favourite are the seafood pancake and tofu jiggae which I highly recommend. In case you are driving, there is a super cheap car park 2 mins walk away. The place does tend to be full most of the time and customers have to queue outside. I would recommend the owner to look into expanding their premises to accommodate more customers. If they do, I might even come both lunch and dinner times 🤭

We decided to come here after our trip to Chessington as we are rarely in this part of town. There were so many restaurants to choose from but after having read to many good reviews about this place, we decided to give it a go. We ordered kimchi pancake, chicken wings, galbi stew and rice and chicken udon. The food was delicious very authentic, quick to arrive, staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's a small restaurant with some upstairs seating so booking is recommended. While we were eating, lots of customers came in to enquire seating and some waited outside so this is obviously a popular restaurant. Highly recommended.

Very good Korean, my favourite was definitely the kimchi pancake (crispy and delicious). The atmosphere was absolutely great and I felt teletransported to Asia after passing through a very narrow aisle and stepping inside pre fab room in the back of the building. Service was great and I recommend it.

This was my second time visit the restaurant and it’s still very tasty! The restaurant was really popular and the restaurant basically have no seats available in 20 minutes after it open for lunch. All the food we ordered was perfect! Truly recommend.

Tasty and portion well enough. Seafood pancake, chicken soup and pork slice etc also delicious. Small shop but good for try. Service also nice.

Something called bean jigae with kimchi and pork (tasted like a stew, not a soup type, but was good). kimchi pancake was crispy outside and soft inside. The sweet chili chicken was similar as a Chinese type dish, not a typical Korean fried chicken and the batter was too thick. Didn’t like it. But overall, nod bad, and might visit again to try other dishes.

The taste of food was very close to what we had in Korea. All were very delicious. The seafood pancake was particularly good, golden brown and crispy. I appreciated the service they offered. The waitress was very patient to make recommendations to the Indian family sitting next to us. When we were leaving, she enthusiastically recommended us to attend a Korean event in the area.

We arrived just a few minutes before they opened at noon on a very rainy NYE. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Luckily we arrived when we did as within 15 minutes all seats were taken and those that were late had to wait. They don’t take reservations and people such as myself travelled very far to try it. All dishes were tasty and arrived quickly. Food was delicious and we would have ordered more if we had more friends eating with us. This is a nice little Korean restaurant to visit if you want to visit new Malden and Korean town. Worth the trip and wait if you’re unlucky!

Absolutely one of the best Korean restaurant in New Malden, even it’s just a tidy little small one. The fried Kimchi Cake is super crispy, and Binimbap is very great with reasonable proportion. Price is really reasonable which you can eat really full with around £20pp.

Probably the best, most authentic korean food ive had in london. The only place that does a really good mung bean pancake and perfectly crispy sweet n sour pork. Ive always wanted to try biji jigae too but never found a restaurant that does it, and it doesn't disappoint. In terms of service the waitress was lovely and friendly but the boss lady was a bit cold and was more interested in attending to some other korean folks that she seems familiar with

Cosy little restaurant with only a few tables and we had to wait about 10-15 mins when we came around 1245 on a Sunday for lunch. I'm can't vouch for how authentic the restaurant is but we enjoyed the food very much, everything we ordered. Can recommend the katsu, chapchae, kimchi fried rice, and beef bone soup.

Japchea, sundae and the soup are really good. Highly recommend. This is the first time I ate sundae, it's a bit chewy and the taste is so unique. We also have blood sausage in Vietnam but it's taste totally different. I enjoyed the atmosphere and all the waitresses were very nice. Definitely come back.

The best tasting Korean food in town. The Pajeon is so crispy. Every dish is super delicious. I have been coming back here many times, the food is quite consistent. When you are not in the mood for Korean BBQ, this is the place to be. Would recommend for you to book in advance, as it’s not a big restaurant. The service is always friendly and warm. Love this place!

One of the best Korean restaurants in New Malden. It deserves its high rating, but I wasn't compelled to give a 5. There was good flavour in all the dishes, the bulgogi pork was to die for and seafood pancakes distinctively crispy. The Kimchi Jiggae could have been a little sharper. Food was prepared very quickly and the service was second to none. I would happily visit again.

The classic seafood pancake pajeon is a must to order, very crispy indeed as what other people will say. Couldn’t go wrong with it. The seatings in the front shop quite limited but they also have a few tables behind the shop where you walked pass the alley. The restaurant did feel like you are in Korea, little area with some good food. Food was definitely good. Although was hoping if the complimentary sides could be made unlimited that will be awesome.

There is limited seating. Imone do take reservations, I suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment. They open at 12:00 and were turning people away in less than an hour because there was no seating left. It’s definitely a popular place for food with locals. The food was really good. Everything coming into the restaurant from the kitchen smelled delicious. We ordered the chicken mandoo, pa jeon, chicken wings. These were cooked really well - perfectly crispy with good flavour. I ordered the minced beef bi bim bap. I can see why people have commented that it lacks flavour but it was perfect for me. The chicken noodles were really good too. The staff were really nice. There are toilets, but they’re located at the back of the restaurant which you cannot access from inside. You would have to go outside, walk along the outside of the building through a small alley way.
