Amazing food, it was my first time here and I would definitely recommend it. I wasn’t feeling so well, so I decided to get the soft tofu jigae and it definitely hit the spot ! With other dishes on the side. The staffs was also friendly and welcoming. :)
I wasn't sure about this place, the reviews were either applauding or scathing, especially with regards to the service.
After being seated and waiting for 10 minutes to at least order drinks I was beginning to feel that perhaps I should have heeded the reviews. Admittedly there was only one waitress on duty but the restaurant was myself and two other tables so it wasn't busy.
After 15 minutes the waitress finally arrived and took our food and drinks order.
I'm not sure what happened but after that everything just gelled. The drinks came within 5 minutes and the starters arrived not long after that.
The food was hot and tasty and was consumed with gusto by my wife and myself.
The BBQ meats arrived not long after the empty starter plates were cleared and I have to admit, it was one of the best bulgogi's I've had even if I did cook it myself.
This was my wife's first experience with Korean dining and already she's planning the menu for our next visit.
We had two different menu of the korean bbq where each one was labeled for one person. It was realy authentic and tasty but for us it was way too much.
The soup was tasty and the fried dumplings where good. The japchae and fried chicken tasted also very good. The meat itself was delicious. Very thing we got was really fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant had a little bit of an old look but over all it was great. Price wise it was ok because it was really a lot of food but next time we would take only one bbq menu for two people.
The Kimchi pancake and kimchi fried rice was amazing. The fried chicken was a bit too tough to bite into and took a long time to chew but the flavour was nice. I will definitely visit again when I’m craving Korean food.
Good value for money!
They have special menus that match with the season. I had the Gamjatang which is my favorite food to have during winter times. Not the most authentic taste but still hit the spot! Banchans were quite good.
My friend got the Jjajangmyeon which was also good!
Good Korean restaurant in the heart of New Malden. I wouldn't say it's my favourite but it was pretty good. Price was the usual to be expected for BBQ meat and a few sides. Had galbi and spicy galbi which was spicy hahaha just a little bit too spicy for me. Galbi was nice and flavoursome. The marinade was yummy. Japchae was good and Kimchi jeon was nice but could be crisper. Overall I enjoyed eating here and I would come again.
One of my favourite Korean restaurants in London! We have been here several times now and have tried the BBQ and non-BBQ dishes - both are fantastic. Our personal favourite is the hot battered chicken, which we order every time.
Portions are generous and prices reasonable (compared to central London). The food is really tasty and as authentic as the food in Seoul. Staff are friendly and polite - they replaced our pork bulgogi for free after it was accidentally burnt on the BBQ, which was very kind of them.
Very highly recommended! :)
The set meal was £26 for two not each. The menu pricing confused us. Great value. The interior is dated and this time they were out of korean beer. Nice staff. Mainly Korean clientele so great for real Korean food.
Wow!!!
We was been served by Hee and the service was excellent.
The food 🍲 it was amazing, all fresh and well prepared.
Highly recommended.
Some really rarely tried Korean dishes!
Service was alright, friendly but we had to keep calling them .
Excellent food and good value. We had the set beef BBQ menu. It was portioned well and we walked away full and looking forward to our next visit.
