I contacted Bella Italia New Brighton a few hours before taking my eldest son for his 9th birthday treat today. He has aspergers and hyperacusis which makes going somewhere new a nervous time for him, particularly if there is likely to be music. I asked James, the manager, if some one could make a bit of a fuss in acknowledging that it is his birthday and he was more than happy to oblige (even offered to have the music off for our arrival, which was so lovely of him!!).
Well, to say he and his team went above and beyond is an absolute understatement. We were greeted with smiles and birthday wishes, a super friendly service and a helium balloon at our table. It didn't stop there! Next came a card and a massive, wrapped present. My son's face was an absolute picture and we really weren't expecting this at all. Having eaten our meals and enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere, we asked for the bill. Next thing you know, the entire staff come over and belted out "happy birthday to you" (after checking it wouldnt be an issue beforehand) with a brownie and candles as well. The service has been exceptional. It actually brought a tear to my eyes. Very mindful of the autistic aspect, incredibly welcoming, and thoughtful beyond words, all off their own back. We have a new go-to place in New Brighton now. Thanks James and the team. Fantastic xx
Had birthday breakfast here this morning for our daughters 21st. Fantastic service waiter was brilliant, lovely food. Nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou xx
We turned up 12 of us, and we waited 5 mins to be seated, lovely staff, food was gorgeous, 3 course children's meal £5.95 older child 3 course £7.95 bargain. Definitely recommend. Either a family friends night out or for a date night.
Waaah I love the food very delicious...I would strongly recommend you to taste their food. Nice and friendly staff too. The view is spectacular especially at night. It's location is wonderful with Cinema opposite if you wanna go to see a movie before or after your meal. I love their sweetie potatoes and stake lets say everything including Mojito 😋❤❤
Outstanding food and service from the lovely staff they have here. Can't expect much less from Bella Italia as a whole. If you sit on the far side by the window you get some nice views, especially in the summer. Lots of variety, good prices and they do a really lovely breakfast as well.
Usually very good and would give 5 stars however one time we visited and got the wrong food, we explained this to our server who said she'd go and check with the chef and get back to us but never did- after a 10 minute wait we headed over to pay and were put off for a few months.
Nice views over to Liverpool. Food was very nice and arrived in a timely manner. Highly recommend the Marco polo pizza, this used to be a special, glad it has now been added to the regular menu.
Great food, friendly and polite staff. So attentive to our needs. Food was fresh and hot , it was so nice, relaxed environment and high chair for our baby who loved all the attention. Cookie dough desert was so nice too.

British breakfast and they had home fried potato instead of the chips
Very good bacon and sausage and it was a good price. A pot of Earl Grey was delivered to the table very quickly.
The food was excellent and I really look forward to come back for breakfast and the friendly staff

Food was Delicious, service was excellent, they even gave us an extra portion of sweet potato fries for nothing because it was so busy! 😁👍😲
Went with the kids eat for a pound voucher I found online. Food is always great. Staff are friendly and the kids meals are great - 3 courses and refillable cordial! Cant go wrong. Always leave satisfied and if there are any issues they usually sort it pretty quick to avoid any issues. Been for a big party of 20 and also as a couple and each time had great experience.
Had a lovely meal here pasta was spot on as were the staff highly recommended
Food is just amazing and very well priced. Advise signing up as a member for the offers as we saved £24 by the kids eating free. The space is very large and we'll laid out too. The service does need to improve though. First server was just miserable no matter how hard we tried and it seems something went wrong with the order and it took forever to come out. They acknowledged his but no offer of compensation such as a round of drinks or anything. When food finally came one plate of food was dropped on the table lol. If it wasn't for that would be 5 stars. Worth a visit.
We eat here occasionally and I took my 2 daughters here on Friday and, although they were really short staffed, it was by far and away our best visit. Both waitresses and the manager were outstanding!
A special thanks to Selinda, she wonderful with my daughters and always had a smile on her face. All three young ladies, and the chef were quite frankly, amazing! I cannot fault this vist in any way at all.
I hope the owners see this... if you can bottle and share what that team did on Friday 29 September 2017, and get the teamwork, enthusiasm and customer service consistently on every service, you will have an amazing restaurant.

After reading some really bad reviews with regards to poor service, I was worried about my planned meal Saturday night. Absolutely no need to have worried. Bella has obviously listened to the complaints and upped their game. The Service and Food was fantastic. I cannot praise the place enough. For all those earlier disappointed customers, I urge you to give it another try. We will definitely be back there soon.
We booked a table for fourteen people for 19.30hrs. They were ready for us as soon as we all arrived. Staff were very friendly and attentive, brought us menus straight away, asked if we'd like to order drinks first. We had as long as we wanted to choose from the menu. Meals didnt take too long to arrive considering the size of our party. Everything was hot, nicely presented. All my family and friends said how much they enjoyed the food. Thank you for a great evening.
